President’s Report June 1, 2016 – May 31, 2017 Dakota Wesleyan University is celebrating. From the President We celebrate because your generosity helped us to surpass our $40 million goal for A Greater Wesleyan three years ahead of schedule. What does this mean? It means our students are able to participate in life- changing experiences, like CiCi Schneider’s personal transformation from soccer athlete to international school-feeding and innovative-gardening advocate. It means athletic training students like Ben Gannon are able to achieve their goals on the athletic field as well as in new athletic training facilities. Theatre students perform in a new theatre that allows for tremendous flexibility in productions. And it means that students who face personal financial crises can be supported through the Pam Boline Student Emergency Fund. We are celebrating because the inaugural year of the President’s Circle enjoyed 342 charter members, and the overall A Greater Wesleyan campaign engaged 5,200 donors. Our celebration encompasses new facilities, rich student experiences, outstanding faculty and unique community partnerships. We are leading the way in higher education because of you.
