On behalf of the people of Maui County, it is my great pleasure to extend a wa rm aloha and congratulations to the artists, organizers and volunteers of the 27th anniversary celebration of Art Maui - Art Maui 2005.

Capturing the inspiration that Maui's extraordinary beauty provides, literally hundreds of artists by way of seemingly unlimited media have made Maui County the artistic center of our island state. Through their labors and talents, Maui is renowned for the diversity and innovative creativity of our resident artistic community.

The Maui Arts & C ultural Center's miss ion is to be "a gathering place where we celebrate community, creativity, and discovery." The Center was open 364 days las t year, as the site of 1700 events!
