    Most Expensive Piano Have you ever imagined what the world’s most expensive piano is? Imagine no further. The most expensive piano in the world belonged to the Beatle’s John Lennon and was auctioned off to British pop-singer George Michael in 2000. When the topic of expensive pianos comes to mind you might think somewhere along the lines of a Bosendorfer, or a Bechstein, or maybe a Steinway & Sons “Alma-Tedema”, with its lavish artwork and hand crafted symmetry. But the Steinway & Sons “Model Z” Piano formerly owned by John Lennon is a fairly ordinary walnut upright piano that still bears a few cigarette burns attributed to the musician. The piano was originally bought by Lennon in December 1970, and delivered to studios at his home in Tittenhurst Park in Berkshire, England. He composed and recorded the song “Imagine” on it, and was filmed playing the song on it for the first time to wife Yoko Ono and the Plastic Ono band. Believed to be a piece of British history by many, the most expensive piano in the world sold at auction in the year 2000 for £1.45 million (about $2.1 million) dollars to George Michael after a “who’s who” bidding war that included several other British celebrities. A Steinway & Sons Model Z After using the world’s most expensive piano to record songs for an album, George Michael returned the piano to the Liverpool museum that housed it prior to his ownership.     Crowds Gather To Mark 50th Anniversary Of The Beatles’ Abbey Road Album Photo (Video) Hundreds of people gathered at the world’s most famous zebra crossing on Thursday to mark the 50th anniversary of the day the Beatles created one of the best-known album covers in music history and an image imitated by countless fans ever since. [Here is a LIVE webcam of Abby Road] The picture of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr striding over the pedestrian crossing on Abbey Road was taken outside the EMI Recording Studios where they made the 1969 album of the same name. To mark the anniversary, a special ‘Abbey Road’ package featuring new mixes of the album’s 17 tracks in stereo and 23 session recordings and demos, will be released on Sept. 27 by Apple Corps/Capitol/UMe, the record companies said on Thursday. Scottish photographer Iain Macmillan took just six shots of the group on the crossing, with the fifth used as the cover of the band’s 11th studio album, released on Sept. 26 1969. The picture shows Lennon in a white suit leading the group across the road. Starr wears a black suit while McCartney is barefoot, out of step and holding a cigarette. Harrison is in blue denim. A Volkswagen Beetle is parked in the background. On Thursday, the Beetle was back in position while traffic crawled along the crowded street as dozens of fans paraded on the black and white painted crossing for souvenir photos. Beatles insider and former Apple Records executive Tony Bramwell said nobody at the time was really aware that ‘Abbey Road’ would be one of the group’s last releases.

He is wearing an English cap, signature sunglasses, and a scarf. JOHN is standing outside of the Museum of modern art, the sound of the city bombards him, the head liner is “YOKO ONO” he is curious so he walks in. R INT. MUSEUM OF MODERN ART. AFTERNOON. It is now quiet. He takes off his cap and sunglasses and proceeds down the hall. There is a picture of YOKO as he is walking in. JOHN sees a ladder in the middle of the room with a magnifying glass hanging from the ceiling, and a canvas attached to the wall. He decides to climb it, he picks up the magnifying glass and takes a look at the canvas. It reads “yes” JOHN is in awe and takes a look to his right, there stands YOKO ONO. She is talking to someone and is laughing. JOHN gives a faint smile. CUT TO: INT. NEW YORK CITY. MUSEUM OF MODERN ART. AFTERNOON.- LATER It is towards the end of the show, there are men taking down some of the pieces. YOKO is directing them and she has a clipboards in her hand.
