Looking Back at Nat (2/15/20) We’re nearing the end of Nat “King” Cole’s centennial year. March 17th will be the 101st anniversary of his birth, in Montgomery, Alabama (he died in Santa Monica in 1965, at age 45). In honor of the milestone, John Pizzarelli made an album honoring his mentor. This week, John & Jessica revisit Nat’s career, his music, and the music of the many people he inspired.
