To extend the existing ‘No Stopping Mon - Fri, 8.30am - 9.30am and 2.30pm - 3.30pm on School Entrance Markings’ restrictions on Clay Hill Road in the Borough of Basildon as specified: Road Description Clay Hill EAST SIDE: From a point approximately 173.86 metres Road, south east of the south kerbline of Witchards, south Basildon east for approximately 7.56 metres. This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Basildon District) (Parking and Waiting) Consolidation Order 2008 by substituting tile numbers TQ705 877 revision 3 to be replaced with revision 4. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Southend Road, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 50m of its junction with Bridge Road for a distance approximately 28m in a westerly direction (10m either side of railway bridge). The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st March 2018 for 2 nights, or where stated on a valid permit (KL134WIS-30-10-210318 – Network Rail). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while bridge examination works are undertaken by Network Rail. An alternative route is available via Southend Road, London Road, Carpenters Arms Roundabout, Chelmsford Road, Battlesbridge Bypass, Turnpike Link, Rettendon Turnpike, Runwell Road, Golden Jubilee Way and vice versa. (Oak Road, Ramsden Crays) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Oak Road, Ramsden Crays in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Jubilee Road for a distance of approximately 80m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th March 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0071000684829 – Cadent Gas). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new gas connection works are undertaken by Cadent Gas. An alternative route is available via Oak Avenue, Southend Road, Hardings Elms Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 2nd March 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
