Niagara Falls Tourism Shares What’s Open Starting July 16, 2021 as Step Three of ’s Roadmap to Reopen Begins

Following Ontario’s announcement that the province will safely enter Step Three of its Roadmap to Reopen on Friday, July 16, 2021, Tourism is sharing what’s open plus online resources to help visitors with planning during the province’s gradual easing of restrictions.

“There is growing excitement as additional memorable attractions, award-winning dining and dynamic entertainment options become available to explore, making Niagara Falls the perfect drive-to getaway,” said Janice Thomson, President and CEO of Niagara Falls Tourism.

“The world-class experiences in Niagara Falls, some that have not been open since March 2020, are busy implementing plans to reopen with limited attendance during this next step of Ontario’s gradual reopening,” said Joel Noden, Chair of Niagara Falls Tourism. “Businesses are anticipating full openings where they can achieve the full potential of business levels and employment for Niagara Falls.”

During Step Three, Niagara Falls offers accommodation, indoor and outdoor attractions, indoor and outdoor dining, entertainment venues, casinos, outdoor parks and landscaped gardens, a designated nature reserve, scenic hiking trails, golf, cycling trails, birdwatching hotspots, shopping and nearby wine region and farmland to explore beyond the famous waterfalls.

Visitors are reminded of the ongoing importance of following public health guidelines for social distancing and wearing face coverings indoors and when maintaining a safe distance outdoors isn’t possible. Businesses in Niagara Falls will also continue to make health and safety a priority for visitors and staff as outlined on SafetoPlay.ca, the Niagara Falls tourism industry’s commitment to all standards introduced by Provincial and Regional Health Authorities.

The Niagara Falls Tourism website resources are continually updated to offer visitors the perfect place to see what’s open and start planning their visit during all steps of reopening.
