Summary of Consultation Results

The relevant Services listed in the existing Lilac Book were consulted and all their recommendations to update the list of projects in their service areas have been incorporated into the revised document.

The 15 Parish Councils and 57 Ward Councillors were also consulted, with responses being received from 10 Parish Councils and two Ward members as follows:

Discussions spring 2011 Winter Maintenance Equipment – Salt bins, and manually operated and vehicular mounted salt spreaders, are needed for New project added to Highways road and pedestrian safety, and accessibility, and to allow access and Public Transport section as for service & emergency vehicles. The estimated cost of the requested equipment is £500,000.

Cllr Phillip Love (Belmont)

The memorial stone celebrating Queen Victoria’s Coronation Email received 7July 2011 Jubilee dated June 21 1837 situated by bus stop on green next to the Windsor Castle Pub where Castle Hill becomes the Bath New project added to Public Art & Road is now 174 years old and is worth preserving. This is one of Heritage section as requested ’s main roads in and out of the Town, and when restored to its former glory, would certainly be noticed not only by walkers and residents waiting for the bus, but also by thousands of drivers who queue each morning down Castle Hill to the roundabout at the bottom.
