For 30 years the station broadcast on 970 AM, then on 99.3 and 98.5 FM and at 1490 AM as ‘The Word’. In 2014 The Bridge 1120 began broadcasting on one of the strongest AM radio signals ever in Austin. In 2017 the Bridge has added its new FM signal at 101.1 FM. I stopped DXing many years ago due to the demands of my work and time for family. I retired to Sarasota, Florida 20 years ago to a location which probably would have been great for TV DX except I had other interests and found when I tried a little DXing the whole spectrum had changed with many translators and different classes of stations making everything very different.
