PJ 88 -- Page 1 ADVANCED DEMOLITION LEGION (THE ADL IN ACTION) In the absurd reversal of all that was once good into that which is becoming daily more critically chaotic and reflective of the coarser side of expression-- look to the Truth. The "diagnosis" might well be interesting, if not downright disturbing. You are under attack as a civilization--and as an individual. The course is up to YOU. You have allowed less than 3% of all population--to CONTROL THE WHOLE OF YOUR GLOBE. GOOD LUCK, HUMAN! BY GYEORGOS CERES HATONN A PHOENIX JOURNAL COPYRIGHT POSITION STATEMENT AND DISCLAIMER The Phoenix Journals are intended as a “real time” commentary on current events, how current events relate to past events and the relationships of both to the physical and spiritual destinies of mankind. All of history, as we now know it, has been revised, rewritten, twisted and tweaked by selfishly motivated men to achieve and maintain control over other men. When one can understand that everything is comprised of “energy” and that even physical matter is “coalesced” energy, and that all energy emanates from God’s thought, one can accept the idea that the successful focusing of millions of minds on one expected happening will cause it to happen. If the many prophecies made over thousands of years are accepted, these are the “end times” (specifically the year 2000, the second millennium, etc.). That would put us in the “sorting” period and only a few short years from the finish line. God has said that in the end-times would come the WORD--to the four corners of the world--so that each could decide his/her own course toward, or away from, divinity--based upon TRUTH. So, God sends His Hosts--Messengers--to present that TRUTH. This is the way in which He chooses to present it, through the Phoenix Journals. Thus, these journals are Truth, which cannot be copyrighted; they are compilations of information already available on Earth, researched and compiled by others (some, no doubt, for this purpose) which should not be copyrighted. Therefore, these journals are not copyrighted (except SIPAPU ODYSSEY which is “fiction”). The first sixty or so journals were published by America West Publishing which elected to indicate that a copyright had been applied for on the theory that the ISBN number (so necessary for booksellers) was dependent upon the copyright. Commander Hatonn, the primary author and compiler, insisted that no copyrights be applied for and, to our knowledge, none were. If the Truth is to reach the four corners of the world, it must be freely passed on. It is hoped that each reader will feel free to do that, keeping it in context, of course. • Medios, Dictadura Y Democracia

  • Assessing the Terrorist Threat in the Tri-Border Area of Brazil, Paraguay and Argentia
ASSESSING THE TERRORIST THREAT IN THE TRI-BORDER AREA OF BRAZIL, PARAGUAY AND ARGENTIA A. F. Trevisi Research Assistant, ICT October 2013 ABSTRACT This report analyzes the terrorist and criminal activities in the Tri-Border Area (TBA) of Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina. It aims to break down the terrorist threat that has emerged from this region by describing its context, considering which groups are present in the TBA and what activities they undertake, and connecting these with operations throughout the continent. Furthermore, it assesses regional and international efforts in the fight against criminal and terrorist organizations in the area. This analysis is based entirely on open sources. * The views expressed in this publication are solely those of the author(s) and do not necessarily reflect the views of the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT). 2 TABLE OF CONTENTS EXECUTIVE SUMMARY ......................................................................................... 3 PART 1. TERRORIST AND ORGANIZED CRIME GROUPS IN THE TRI-BORDER AREA (TBA) OF SOUTH AMERICA A Report Prepared by the Federal Research Division, Library of Congress under an Interagency Agreement with the Crime and Narcotics Center Director of Central Intelligence July 2003 (Revised December 2010) Author: Rex Hudson Project Manager: Glenn Curtis Federal Research Division Library of Congress Washington, D.C. 205404840 Tel: 2027073900 Fax: 2027073920 E-Mail: [email protected] Homepage: http://loc.gov/rr/frd/ p 55 Years of Service to the Federal Government p 1948 – 2003 Library of Congress – Federal Research Division Tri-Border Area (TBA) PREFACE This report assesses the activities of organized crime groups, terrorist groups, and narcotics traffickers in general in the Tri-Border Area (TBA) of Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay, focusing mainly on the period since 1999. Some of the related topics discussed, such as governmental and police corruption and anti–money-laundering laws, may also apply in part to the three TBA countries in general in addition to the TBA. This is unavoidable because the TBA cannot be discussed entirely as an isolated entity. Based entirely on open sources, this assessment has made extensive use of books, journal articles, and other reports available in the Library of Congress collections. It is based in part on the author’s earlier research paper entitled “Narcotics-Funded Terrorist/Extremist Groups in Latin America” (May 2002). It has also made extensive use of sources available on the Internet, including Argentine, Brazilian, and Paraguayan newspaper articles. One of the most relevant Spanish-language sources used for this assessment was Mariano César Bartolomé’s paper entitled Amenazas a la seguridad de los estados: La triple frontera como ‘área gris’ en el cono sur americano [Threats to the Security of States: The Triborder as a ‘Grey Area’ in the Southern Cone of South America] (2001).

  • The Ugly Truth About the "ADL: They Are a Bunch of Racist Thugs Who Push Drugs
Since the First Printing: ADL in Middle of A Spy Scandal Too Big to Bury On January 15, eight days after the publica- tion of the first edition of this book, The San Francisco Chronicle shocked the public with the revelation that the office of the ADL in San Francisco was at the center of a scandal involving a San Francisco police officer and a Bay Area art dealer/self-described private eye who were suspected of selling illegally obtained information to agents of the South African government. The two men, Sgt. Tom Gerard of the San Francisco Police Department, and Roy Bullock, a longtime paid undercover operative for the local office of the Anti- Defamation League of B'nai B'rith (ADL), had been undo: Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) scrutiny since vii viii SINCE THE FIRST PRINTING 1990, when federal agents discovered that secret Bureau records on American black Muslims had been obtained by South African spies. The trail pointed to Bullock, who, in addition to his fulltime paid work for the ADL, had been "moonlighting" as an undercover snitch for the Bureau. On at least one occasion, Bullock received a 1500 cash payment from the FBI for infiltrating meetings of two Bay Area groups. Bullock had access to confidential Bureau files, and became a suspect when FBI files stowed up in the hands of the South African government at the same time he was regularly meeting with two South African spies and passing confidential data to them. Bullock received cash payments that eventually totaled over $16,000.

  • Constructing and Contesting the Echo Chamber: a Study of Print Media Discourse on the Final Year of the 1976-1983 Dictatorship in Argentina
Constructing and contesting the echo chamber: A study of print media discourse on the final year of the 1976-1983 dictatorship in Argentina Muireann Prendergast This thesis is submitted in part fulfilment of the academic requirements for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy Supervisors: Professor Helen Kelly-Holmes Dr. David Atkinson Submitted to the University of Limerick, September 2018 i External Examiner: Prof. Michał Krzyżanowski, University of Liverpool and University of Örebro Internal Examiner: Dr. Cinta Ramblado, University of Limerick ii ABSTRACT For post-dictatorship countries attempting to come to terms with and understand their past, historical media studies have a particularly important role to play. In identifying discursive strategies, objective and subjective versions of events, and key social actors, they not only contribute to the linguistic debate on how "meaning" is produced in media but can have wider implications at the societal level in the construction of "collective memory" and identity (Achugar, 2007). The 1982-1983 period marked the end of a brutal dictatorship, Argentina’s Proceso de Reorganización Nacional (National Reorganization Process) and a difficult period of transition to democracy for the country following defeat in the 1982 Falklands/Malvinas War. Using a Critical Discourse Analysis framework, this research project analyses the role of the print media in both sustaining and challenging the dictatorship in Argentina during its period of crisis. The methodological approach of this study is mixed, combining the qualitative principles of the Discourse-Historical Approach (DHA) (Reisigl and Wodak, 2009) with a quantitative corpus-assisted discourse analysis of newspapers that supported the regime. Furthermore, a Synchronic-Diachronic method developed by Argentinean linguist Pardo (2008, 2010) for specific application to her country’s media is employed for qualitative study of newspaper discourse opposing the dictatorship, while a multimodal analytical framework is applied to the political cartoons of the period.
