Vehicles 2285 . 1993 No. 409 ROAD TRAFFIC AND VEHICLES Roads (Speed Limit) (No. 4) Order (Northern Ireland) 1993 Made 4th October 1993 Coming into operation 12th November 1993 To be laid before Parliament under paragraph 3(3) of Schedule 1 to the Northern Ireland Act 1974 The Department of the Environment, in exercise ()f the powers conferred on it by Article 50(4) of the Road Traffic (Northern Ireland) Order 1981(a) and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order: Citation and commencement L This Order may be cited as the Roads (Speed Limit) (No. 4) Order (Northern Ireland) 1993 and shall come into operation on 12th November 1993. .. Increase of speed limit . 2. In relation to the roads and lengths of road specified in Schedule 1 the rate of speed fixed by Article 50(1) of the Road Traffic (Northern Ireland) Order 1981 shall be increased to 40 miles per hour. This Order increases from 30 miles per hour to 40 miles per hour the speed limit on the roads and lengths of road specified in Schedule 1. Article 3 revokes the provisions described in Schedule 2. The item referred to in paragraph 1 and item 15 in paragraph 5 of Schedule 2 are being revoked because the lengths of road concerned are now partially comprised in the lengths of road described in items 8 and 18 respectively of Schedule 1. The effect of the revocation on the lengths of road not so comprised is to reduce the speed limit to 30 miles per hour. The items referred to in paragraphs 2 and 4 and item 6 in paragraph 5 of Schedule 2 are being revoked because the lengths of road concerned are now comprised in certain lengths of road in items contained in Schedule 1. The effect of the revocation of the item mentioned in paragraph 3 and in items 3, 4 and 18 in paragraph 5 of Schedule 2 is to reduce the speed limit on those lengths of road to 30 miles per hour. .

The Department has statutory responsibility for the sites and monuments in this list which are protected under Article 3 of the Historic Monuments and Archaeological Objects (NI) Order 1995. They are and are listed in alphabetical order of townland name within each county. The Schedule of Historic Monuments at April 2016 This schedule is compiled and maintained by the Department and is available for public consultation at the Monuments and Buildings Record, Waterman House, 5-33 Hill Street, Belfast BT1 2LA. Additions and amendments are made throughout each year and this list supersedes all previously issued lists. To date there are 1,977 scheduled historic monuments. It is an offence to damage or alter a scheduled site in any way. No works should be planned or undertaken at the sites listed here without first consulting with Historic Environment Division and obtaining any necessary Scheduled Monument Consent. The unique reference number for each site is in the last column of each entry and should be quoted in all correspondence. Where sites are State Care and also have a scheduled area they are demarcated with an asterisk in this list The work of scheduling is ongoing, and the fact that a site is not in this list does not diminish its unique archaeological importance. The Northern Ireland Sites and Monuments Record (NISMR) has information on some 16,656 sites of which this scheduled list is about 12% at present.

    STATUTORY RULES OF NORTHERN IRELAND 2010 No. 213 ROAD TRAFFIC AND VEHICLES The Roads (Speed Limit) (No. 3) Order (Northern Ireland) 2010 Made - - - - 10th June 2010 Coming into operation - 7th July 2010 The Department for Regional Development(a) makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by Articles 37(3), 37(4) and 38(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation (Northern Ireland) Order 1997(b) and now vested in it(c). The Department has consulted such persons as it considered appropriate in compliance with paragraphs 1 and 2 of Schedule 5 to that Order. The Department has published a Notice in compliance with paragraphs 1 and 3 of that Schedule. No written objection or other representation has been received. Citation and commencement 1. This Order may be cited as The Roads (Speed Limit) (No. 3) Order (Northern Ireland) 2010 and shall come into operation on 7th July 2010. Speed restriction on certain roads 2.
