PROMOTION OVERVIEW AND DATES: The Los Angeles Lakers, Inc. (“Lakers”) and HOLA are presenting the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge, which is part of the Jr. NBA Skills Challenge being presented by the NBA and Verizon (the “Program”) consisting of three (3) Phases: 1) Local Competitions which will take place between, March 14, 2016 – May 1, 2016; 2) Regional Competitions which will take place between May 14, 2016 – June 5, 2016; and 3) National Finals which will take place between June 22, 2016 – June 24, 2016. Lakers, Inc. (“Lakers”) and HOLA are presenting the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge as Phase 1 of the Program on April 9, 2016 at Lafayette Park located at 625 South Lafayette Park Place, Los Angeles, CA 90057 (the “Venue”) commencing at 12:00 p.m. (noon) Pacific Daylight Time (PDT).

ELIGIBILITY: The Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Competition is open to legal residents of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura Counties who are between the ages of 9 and 14 as of March 14, 2016. All entrants (“Contestants”) must have the written permission of their parent or legal guardian to enter. Employees, officers, directors, representatives and agents of NBA Properties, Inc. (“Sponsor”), NBA Media Ventures, LLC, the National Association (“NBA”) and its member teams, including, but not limited to, Lakers, Verizon Wireless, and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, governors, owners, distributors, retailers, agents, assignees, and advertising/promotion agencies (collectively, “Released Parties”) and the immediate family members (parents, spouses, siblings, children and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and/or those living in the same household of any such individual, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win. The Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge and the Program are subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, and is void where prohibited by law.

IMPORTANT NOTE: By entering the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge, each Contestant (or his/her parent or legal guardian) represents that he/she is in good physical condition, that he/she has the physical capacity to participate in the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge and understands and accepts all risks associated with participation in the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge. Each Contestant (or his/her parent or legal guardian) also expressly acknowledges his/her understanding that participation in the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge can be dangerous and can involve the risk of serious physical injury or death. Each Contestant (or his/her parent or legal guardian) represents that the Contestant is participating in the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge voluntarily, with full knowledge of the potential risks entailed and he/she (or his/her parent or legal guardian) expressly, knowingly and voluntarily assumes the risk of any and all physical injury, illness or death associated with or caused by Contestant’s participating in the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge.

PARTICIPATION: To participate in the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge, eligible Contestants must appear at the Venue at the stated time for the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge and register to participate. In order to be eligible to participate, each Contestant and his/her parent or legal guardian will be required to complete an eligibility and registration form and complete and sign a release and waiver agreement. Boys and Girls will compete separately in six (6) different age and Gender groups: Group 1: Boys Ages 9-10, Group 2: Girls Ages 9-10, Group 3: Boys 11-12, Group 4: Girls 11-12, Group 5: Boys 13-14, and Group 6: Girls 13-14.

Each Contestant will participate in the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge in the manner and according to these Official Rules and the procedures and conditions specified by Lakers in its sole discretion. All details regarding the mechanics and other rules, procedures and conditions for participation in the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge will be determined by Lakers (in its sole discretion) and will be provided immediately prior to the start of the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge. All judging for the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge will be done onsite by Lakers in its sole and absolute discretion, and all decisions of Lakers will be final and binding on all Contestants. Any disputes (including but not limited to eligibility, event rules, event clock malfunctions, etc.) will be resolved by Lakers (or the supervising staff designated by Lakers), whose decisions shall be final, conclusive and binding. Only basketball(s) in the designated area that are provided by Lakers will be used for the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge. Contestants will be disqualified if he/she has any of the following: 1) two (2) false starts; 2) all skills are not followed in sequential order provided; or 3) Contestant competes in more than one local event in the Program.

CAMP LAKERS JR. NBA SKILL CHALLENGE DETAILS AND SCORING: At the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge, each age and gender group outlined above will participate in the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge as follows: Contestants, on cue, will pick up their first ball from a pedestal. Contestants proceed to dribble from the baseline to: 1) ZIG-ZAG DRIBBLE – Using the ball in-hand zig-zag dribble through the cones as instructed by the designated onsite official; 2) SPEED DRIBBLE – Using the ball in-hand the Contestant will dribble from the designated spot to the designated cone as instructed by the designated onsite official; 3) SHOOT, , AND SCORE – Using the ball in-hand the Contestant must attempt to make as many shots as possible in 45 seconds from the shooting spots designated by the designated onsite official. The contestant must rebound all of his/her own balls; 4) – Using the ball in-hand the Contestant must attempt to make one (1) free throw shot. The goal of the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge is to get the highest total score in your respective age and gender group in accordance with the Scoring section below.

For the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge, six (6) Skills Challenge Contestants (one (1) from each age and gender group) with the highest score will be named the First Place Finisher and move on to the Jr. NBA Regional Competition where they will repeat the above challenge as outlined in the Official Jr. NBA Skills Challenge Rules that can be found by visiting www.JrNBA.com/Skills.

The six (6) Skills Challenge Contestants (one (1) from each age and gender group) with the second highest score in the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge will be named a 2nd Place Finisher and the six (6) Skills Challenge contestants (one (1) from each age and gender group) with the third highest score in the Camp Jr. Lakers Skills Challenge will be named a 3rd Place Finisher. Both the 2nd and 3rd place Finishers in the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge will receive Certificates.

In addition, the six (6) First Place Finishers in the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge will also receive a “scholarship” (free tuition) for Session Two of the 2016 Camp Lakers, a youth basketball camp for boys and girls ages 9-18. First Place Finishers are responsible for their own transportation to and from Camp Lakers. No substitute prize will be awarded to such First Place Finishers. As a participant in the 2016 Camp Lakers, campers will learn the “Lakers way” by honing their basketball skills and discovering the importance of hard work, teamwork, dedication, and sportsmanship on and off the court. Each day special Lakers coaches and staff will visit to meet and speak with the campers. On Friday July 8, 2016, campers will take a field trip to the Lakers’ practice facility to see where the Lakers work on their basketball skills! At the practice facility the campers will have the once-and-a-lifetime opportunity to play on the court where the Lakers play, step inside the Lakers practice locker room, see the championship trophies and shoot around with one of the Lakers! The Session Two of the 2016 Camp Lakers will be held from July 4, 2016 through July 8, 2016 at Next Level Sports Complex located in Garden Grove, California.

Proceeds from Camp Lakers benefit the Lakers Youth Foundation which works to help underserved youth develop their potential by providing positive experiences and resources in education, health and wellness, and sports. TIEBREAKERS In the event of a tie for 1st Place, the following guidelines will be used to determine the 1st Place Finisher in any age or gender category in the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge: All Contestants involved in the tie will have their score sheets compared. The 1st Place Finisher will be determined by: 1. free throw shot made; and then if still tied, 2. Highest number of 6 shots made; and then if still tied, 3. Highest number of 4 point shots made; and then if still tied, 4. Highest number of 3 point shots made; and then if still tied, 5. Highest number of 1 point shots; and then if still tied, 6. Lowest number of violations.

CAMP LAKERS JR. NBA SKILL CHALLENGE PROCEDURES: • Each Contestant competes one at a time against the stopwatch. • Each Contestant begins with one basketball in hand and both feet behind and to the right of the designated starting cone. • The Contestant begins when the timer yells “GO” or blows the whistle. The Contestant ends when the timer yells “STOP” or blows the whistle after 45 seconds has elapsed. • Each Contestant is allowed one false start. If a Contestant false starts, the timer blows the whistle so the Contestant can return to the starting cone. If a Contestant false starts a second time, he or she is disqualified. • Contestants begin the zig-zag dribble by past the first cone to the left. • Contestants MUST follow the zig-zag dribbling around each cone, followed up with the speed dribble, as outlined in the Competition Flow Diagram on page 10 before any shot attempts are taken from designated shooting spots. • Contestants may begin the shooting portion from any shooting spot and may shoot in any order. • Once a shot is taken, the Contestant must shoot from a different spot (a participant may not take consecutive shots from the same spot, make or miss). • Contestants must retrieve their own rebounds. • Contestants must dribble throughout the challenge, including after rebounding and upon returning to another shooting spot. • A basket counts only if the ball is released before the timer yells “STOP”. • After the 45 seconds, each Contestant will shoot one free throw worth 3 points. • Contestants must attempt the free throw with both feet behind the 15-foot free throw line as if in a normal game. All age and gender groups will shoot from the same designated free throw line.

CAMP LAKERS JR. NBA SKILL CHALLENGE RULES: • All girl Contestants will compete with a 28.5” basketball. • All boy Contestants will compete with a 29.5” basketball. • Contestants may shoot using any technique desired. • Any part of the Contestant’s foot must be touching the shooting spot as the release the ball for the basket to count. They do not need to be touching/landing on the spot after a shot has been taken • A kicked over cone is permitted provide that the Contestant correctly dribbled, rounded, and weaved past the cone correctly

• Contestants must dribble the basketball through the challenge. • No Out of Bounds • Each Contestant receives only one official attempt to complete the challenge

CAMP LAKERS JR. NBA SKILL CHALLENGE VIOLATIONS/POINT DEDUCTIONS: A three (3) point penalty will be subtracted from the Contestant’s final score for each of the below violations: *All rulings made by the court official scorer are final. • • Double dribble • Palming/ the ball

CAMP LAKERS JR. NBA SKILL CHALLENGE SCORING: • Each time a shot is made the Contestant is awarded with the corresponding spot’s point value. • Three (3) bonus points are awarded for a free throw made at the end of the 45-second time limit. • A three (3) point penalty will be subtracted from the Contestant’s finals score for each listed above. • Final scores will be tallied based on the shots made, plus three (3) bonus points if the free throw is made, minus any penalty points.

OWNERSHIP OF VIDEOS, PHOTOGRAPHS, AND FOOTAGE: Contestants who participate in the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge may be videotaped and photographed during their participation (collectively, “Footage”) and by participating, agree to such videotaping and photographs. All Footage will be owned by Lakers and NBA Properties, Inc., which will have the right to use, edit, adapt, post, stream, copy and exploit such Footage, and all elements embodied therein, including any names, voices, likenesses and performance embodied therein, in any and all media, now or hereafter devised, without further payment or consideration, notification or permission, worldwide and in perpetuity, except where prohibited by law. Without limiting the foregoing, by entering the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge and without limiting any other rights granted hereunder, each Contestant and his or her parent or legal guardian hereby grants permission for the Footage of him and/or his video (as applicable) to be posted on Lakers and HOLA’s sites or other websites and social media channels.

OTHER RESTRICTIONS: Noncompliance with the foregoing or with these Official Rules may result in disqualification and all associated entries will be void. Each Contestant and his or her parent or legal guardian agrees that Released Parties are not responsible for any unauthorized use of videos and/or Footage by third parties. The use of script, macro or any other device to automate or subvert the entry process is prohibited and any such entries will be void.

Other than for prize notification or for promotional emails, neither Lakers nor anyone acting on its behalf, will enter into any communications with any Contestant regarding the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge or acknowledge any entry not meeting all entry requirements stated herein and all such entries will be void. Released Parties are not responsible for incomplete, lost, late, inaccurate, delayed, undelivered, garbled, stolen, damaged or misdirected entries, registrations, (or any component thereof), inaccurate Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge-related information provided by Lakers or HOLA or for interrupted or unavailable network, server, cable, satellite, Internet Service Provider (ISP), wireless or other connections, miscommunications, computer or software malfunctions or telephone line, cellular tower, or transmission problems or technical failures, garbled transmissions, damage to a user's computer equipment (software or hardware) or other errors or malfunctions of any kind whether caused by equipment, programming used in this Program,

mechanical, electronic, network, technical or human error or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge, including, without limitation, errors which may occur in connection with the administration of the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge, the processing or judging of entries, the uploading of videos, the cancellation or postponement of the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge, and/or the taping of onsite entries, the announcement of the prizes or in the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge-related materials. Released Parties reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to void suspect entries or modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge (or portion thereof) should virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge and, in the event of such cancellation or termination, at its discretion, determine the winner(s) and/or Finalist(s) for the applicable portion(s) of the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge from all eligible non-suspect entries received prior to event requiring cancellation or termination using the judging procedure stated herein. By participating, Contestants agree to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Lakers and judges, which shall be final and binding.

MISCELLANEOUS: Winners are responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes, including but not limited to any applicable income or withholding taxes or like fees and all other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided. No transfer, assignment, or substitution of prizes except by Lakers, which may substitute a prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion. Each Contestant agrees that by participating in the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge: (1) Lakers and NBA Properties, Inc. shall have the right and permission to use (unless prohibited by law) each Contestants’ name, voice, city and state of residence, photograph and/or likeness for advertising and/or trade and/or any other purpose in any media now or hereafter known without further compensation, permission, authorization or notification to participant, (2) the Released Parties and each of their respective employees, officers, directors, parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates owners, distributors, retailers, agents, representatives, assignees, and advertising/promotion agencies have the right to use the entry form data for marketing and promotional purposes (subject to applicable law); and (3) the Released Parties and their designees and assigns and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents shall have no liability for, and such Contestant will release and hold harmless the Released Parties from, and indemnify the Released Parties against, any claim, liability, loss, injury or damage, including but not limited, to personal injury, death or damage to any Contestant or any other person or entity, personal or real property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of such participant’s participation in the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge, the use of any entry for the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge by the Released Parties or such Contestant’s acceptance and/or use or misuse of any prize (including any travel or activity related thereto) or any of the rights granted herein. Lakers is not responsible for any inability of the winner and/or Finalists to accept a prize and reserve the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify or eliminate any Finalist who is not in compliance with these Official Rules. CAUTION: Any attempt to deliberately damage the website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Lakers reserves the right to seek damages (including attorneys’ fees) and/or other remedies from any such person(s) responsible for the attempt to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Lakers reserves the right to disqualify any Contestant in the event he or she or his or her parent or legal guardian commits a crime or, in the reasonable opinion of Lakers, Contestant’s personal conduct (including use of social media) disparages or embarrasses Lakers, the NBA, its member teams, or any of their sponsors or partners.

ARBITRATION: Except where prohibited by law, as a condition of participating in the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge, each Contestant and his or her parent or legal guardian agrees that: (1) any and all disputes and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills

Challenge, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by final and binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association and held in Los Angeles County, California; (2) the Federal Arbitration Act shall govern the interpretation, enforcement and all proceedings at such arbitration; and (3) judgment upon such arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction. Under no circumstances will a Contestant or his or her parent or legal guardian be permitted to obtain awards for, and each Contestant and his or her parent or legal guardian hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental or consequential damages, or any other damages, including attorneys' fees, other than Contestant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs associated with participating in the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge ), and each Contestant and his or her parent or legal guardian further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

CHOICE OF LAW: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of Contestant, his or her parent or legal guardian and Lakers in connection with the Camp Lakers Jr. NBA Skills Challenge, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the substantive laws of the State of California, USA without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other state’s law.
