COLOURWORKS 1902 SUPERFINE LN (RACE ST) Wlliam Renfrow is a photographer, painter, and , of many years, a resident of the East End of Long Island. In the last twenty years he began photographing landscapes as compositions for paintings, but soon became more interested in the altered life, the shadow self of objects, the photographs themselves taking on a life of their own, parallel worlds and existences of objects and visual fields that became something else when viewed from a certain standpoint, a more geometric and abstract representation of existence, which is the vantage point for this series of photographs; light, color, reflective forms, shadows and shapes.
