Third, as part of the research for this project, CT1 interviewed several entrepreneurs and developers who have attempted to participate as equity owners in joint development projects throughout the country. Their willingness to share their positive and negative experiences in joint development provided an invaluable source of data for the project. Their "lessons learned" were incorporated throughout the manual. In closing, CTI would like to give due'recognition to its own staff for their untiring efforts to produce a document which will "make a difference". Too ofteni major socioeconomic issues are studied and restudied without practical applicaton.
