COMENTARIO El maestro Billy Wilder rodó en 1966 En bandeja de plata (The for - tune cookie ), una comedia protagonizada por nada más y nada menos que Jack Lemmon y Walter Matthau, quien obtuvo el Oscar a mejor actor secundario. El guión venía de la mano del mismo director colaborando con I.A.L Diamon y el resultado fue una diver - tida crítica a las ambiciones económicas y el mundo de las compa - ñías de seguros. El argumento nos presenta al ingenuo e influenciable Harry Hinkle, interpretado por el siempre perfecto Jack Lemmon, un cámara de televisión todavía enamorado de su exmujer que sufre una conmo - ción al chocar con un futbolista en mitad de un partido. Por ejemplo, hablando de cine negro, la farsa relacionada con una compañía de seguros remite al engaño de ‘Perdición’. Además, una de las localizacio - nes es un apartamento similar al que com - partieron C.C. Baxter y la señorita Kubelik en la película de 1960; podemos disfrutar de un cameo de Sig Ruman (secundario habi - tual de Wilder que moriría poco después del rodaje); y tampoco faltan las bofetadas marca de la casa a profesionales teórica - mente reputados como los médicos, los abo - gados o los deportistas de élite.
