The Hall of Fame will be on hand in Dallas and Cleveland for the first night of the draft. Then, on Saturday, the Cleveland Browns Day 3 picks will be announced live from the Hall of Fame. It will mark the first time a portion of the draft will emanate from the Hall of Fame. Canton/Cleveland are among five finalists to host the NFL Draft in 2019 or 2020. Beginning Thursday, the “Hall of Fame Street Team” will be in Dallas to engage with fans on hand for the draft at AT&T Stadium. A special exhibit will be set up in the NFL Museum area of the stadium that showcases the actual Bronzed Busts of Hall of Famers and Dallas Cowboys Legends TROY AIKMAN, TONY DORSETT, JERRY JONES, MICHAEL IRVIN, TOM LANDRY, DEION SANDERS, EMMITT SMITH and ROGER STAUBACH. The exhibit will also feature the full collection of 51 Super Bowl rings, the Lamar Hunt AFC Championship Trophy, the George S. Halas NFC Championship Trophy and the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award. Closer to home, the Hall of Fame will have an exhibit at the Cleveland Browns Official 2018 Draft Tailgate to celebrate the NFL Draft with fans on Thursday, April 26. The Hall’s special exhibit will focus on the career of Browns Legend Joe Thomas. COMMITMENT • INTEGRITY • COURAGE • RESPECT • EXCELLENCE Hall of Fame President David Baker will be joined by NFL Legend Bernie Kosar inside the Hall of Fame Gallery on Saturday to announce the Browns’ fourth round draft choice. Kosar will announce the remainder of the Browns’ draft choices that day from various locations at the Hall of Fame including the Ralph Wilson, Jr. Pro Football Hall of Fame Research & Preservation Center, and the youth football field located on the Hall’s main campus. The Pro Football Hall of Fame will offer fans who wear Cleveland Browns gear to the Hall $5 off Museum Admission when they mention the promotion. Additionally, current Browns players Emmanuel Ogbah, David Njoku and T.J. Carrie will be at the Hall on Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. for a meet and greet. The special event is included with Museum admission and fans will have the opportunity to get autographs and take pictures with the Browns players. Through Browns Give Back and the team’s commitment to youth football, the 2018 Cleveland Browns Parents Clinic will also take place at the Hall of Fame on Saturday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The Clinic is an interactive and educational forum designed to educate parents about football fundamentals while offering an on-field player safety clinic. Participants will learn about concussion recognition and response protocols, proper equipment fitting, heads up tackling and blocking, heat emergency preparedness and hydration, and sudden cardiac arrest. Kids ages 6-14 are welcome to attend the Play 60 Drills & Skills Camp during the same time. Admission is free, but pre- registration is required by going to www.clevelandbrowns.com/parentsclinic.
