Gpib Newsletter Congrats!! GPIB NEWSLETTER APRIL2016 Version 11 CONGRATS!! Congrats to Jackie Terpak on her verbal commit to Utah State Uni- versity. She is currently a sopho- more at Central York High School and will graduate in 2018. We are very proud of you Jackie! Congrats to Addison Fatta who has qualified as a Hopes gymnast. Addison is a level 9 gymnast and 11 years old. She will compete at Hopes Classic in May in Texas. We are very proud of you Addison and wishing you lots of luck! Congrats to Trinity Thomas who was named to the Junior National Team and selected to com- pete in City of Jesolo Trophy in Italy. Trinity com- peted in the team competition where she earned a spot in the floor event finals. She won first place on floor in event finals. Way to go Trinity in your International debut! STATES NEWS Congrats to Level 10 they took 4th place team at Level 10 State Championships!! Not only has she consistently recruited and coached some of the top talent in the world, but she has produced the results, totaling over 500 career regular season victories heading into her 29th and ! nal season as head coach. The Bruins won their ! rst NCAA championship in 1997 under Kondos Field and won again in back-to-back seasons in both 2000-2001 and 2003-2004. In 2010, UCLA won its sixth NCAA title with a 24-for-24 performance in the A breast cancer survivor, Kondos Field’s positive outlook throughout her journey Super Six, and in 2018, the Bruins used a record-breaking performance on has resonated profoundly with her student-athletes and with fans, leading to balance beam to complete an improbable comeback in the ! nal rotation that her mantra “Life is Short, Don’t Wait to Dance.” She has authored a book with catapulted them to their seventh crown. that title, which was released in October through Hachette Book Group.
