En 1985 la cantante recibió una nominación al Grammy en la categoría «Mejor actuación vocal mujer». fuente: wikipedia.org ■ ENLACES DE INTERÉS • web oficial de Tânia Maria • wikipedia.org ■ DISCOGRAFÍA • (2010) It's Only Love • (1996) No Comment • (2007) Via Brasil, Vol. 2 [reissue] • (1996) Bluesilian • (2006) Via Brasil • (1993) The Best of Tania Maria • (2005) Brazil With My Soul • (1993) Outrageous • (2005) Intimidade • (1988) Forbidden Colors • (2005) Tania Maria in Copenhagen • (1991) Lady from Brazil w/Neils-Henning Orsted Pedersen • (1990) Bela Vista • (2004) Olha Quem Chega [reissue] • (1985) Made in New York • (2003) Wild • (1984) The Real Tania Maria: Wild! • (2002) Tania Maria Live At the Blue Note • (1983) Love Explosion • (2002) Happiness • (1982) Come With Me • (2000) Viva Brazil • (1981) Taurus • (1997) Europe • (1980) Piquant BIBLIOTECA PÚBLICA DE ALICANTE ■ DISCOGRAFÍA EN LA BIBLIOTECA Tania María It's only love [Grabación sonora] / Tania Maria live with the Frankfurt Radio Bigband . -- Merenberg : BHM, [2010] 1 disco (CD-DA) (ca. 59 min.) ; 12 cm + 1 folleto Contiene : Confusion ; Grabación en vivo en Centralstation Darmstadt, Alemania el 9 de febrero de 2007 RD. 6567 Latin jazz 1172742 Tania María Intimidades [Grabación sonora] / Tania Maria . -- [S.l.] : Emi France, cop. Su música es fundamentalmente jazz, que viene enriquecida por un swing contagioso que refleja su rica personalidad. fuente: wikipedia.org ■ ENLACES DE INTERÉS • web oficial de Michel Camilo • wikipedia.org ■ DISCOGRAFÍA • (2009) Caribe • (1997) Thru my eyes • (2008) Spirit of the moment • (1997) Hands of Rhythm (Giovanni Hidalgo) • (2006) Spain again • (1996) Two much (banda sonora) • (2006) Rhapsody in Blue • (1994) One more once • (2005) Solo • (1991) Amo tu cama rica (banda sonora • (2003) Live at Blue Note • (1990) On the other hand • (2002) Triángulo • (1989) On FIRE • (2002) Piano Concerto Suit & Caribe • (1988) Michel Camilo • (2001) Calle 54 (banda sonora) • (1986) Suntan (2000) Spain • (1985) Why not?

  • Guitar Channel)
RENEGADE CREATION Michael Landau (Guitar); Robben Ford (Guitar); Jimmy Haslip (Bass); Gary Novak (Drums) Renegade Creation is the new record by veteran musical giants, Michael Landau, Robben Ford, Jimmy Haslip and Gary Novak. Blending together to create a blues-driven sound that not only will satisfy their individual fans but is fresh enough to attract a legion of new fans as well. Delivering bothrootsy, blues/rock vocal tunes and fiery instrumentals, the band draws on the unique guitar interplay between guitar giants Robben Ford and Michael Landau who inspire each other to new personal bests. Review Renegade Creation (Blues Bureau International - a division of Shrapnel Records) is a thinking man's blues rock album featuring a dream-team of four top shelf musicians - Michael Landau (guitar), Robben Ford (guitar), Jimmy Haslip (bass) and Gary Novak (drums). Though this is the first time the four have recorded an album together, it's not as though there's no history between these players. Ford and Haslip go back to the pre-Yellowjackets days, Landau has played with Ford many times (including a late-70s west coast tour that included Haslip), both Landau and Ford have used Novak on various tours and recordings, you get the idea. Some of you may envision "west coast jazz" when you think of these musicians, but what they've done here is far removed from that scene. Renegade Creation is a guitar-driven, predominantly vocal rock album, with a heavy emphasis on blues; more akin to Ford and Landau's vocal recordings than any manner of jazz or fusion.
