th ANNUAL REPORT CARD ON ATLANTIC CANADIAN HIGH SCHOOLS This is the sixth annual Report Card on Atlantic Canadian High Schools (RC6). It is based on a 6 three-year average including 2003/04, 2004/05, and 2005/06. The grades reported here are for the schools themselves and are not simply an average of grades received by the students at that school. The final grade and rank for the fifth annual report card (RC5) is included for reference. There is a great deal of information presented here. We encourage you to dig below the overall rank and grade. Even the highest ranked schools can improve and those at the bottom of the list can take pride in their strengths. The Research Team Principal researcher Rick Audas is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Community Health, Faculty of Medicine, Memorial University of Newfoundland. Co-author Charles Cirtwill is head of AIMS’ Education and School Reform Project. Co-author Bobby O’Keefe is a Senior Policy Analyst at AIMS.
