AIt=s obviously very exciting, but I have to stress I wouldn=t have achieved anything like the success I have without the help of Richard and his team over the last 17 years,@ Hanagan told sportinglife.com. Hanagan to Replace Hills cont. Watching Brief for Harbour... Robin Heffer and Pearl Bloodstock=s unbeaten Harbour Angus Gold, racing manager for Sheikh Hamdan, said Watch (Ire) (Acclamation {GB}) is facing a race against in a statement, AFollowing the recent announcement of time to make the May 5 G1 QIPCO 2000 Guineas, Richard Hills= retirement after the Dubai World Cup, I am trainer Richard Hannon revealed yesterday. Having been such an integral part of the very Classic, but needs everything to run smoothly until successful Richard Fahey team for so long, I know that then. AIt is a case of so far, so good, and, like all our Paul will be a tremendous asset to our team. I would other horses at this time of the year, Harbour Watch is like to express our thanks to Richard Fahey, and feel doing steady slow work,@ Hannon commented. At the same Greenham at Newbury in April, we have not given up time, I would like to pay tribute to Richard Hills, and hope that he might yet make the Guineas. However, if thank him for the enormous contribution he has made to the clock beats us, then so be it. CAPUANO GETS WIN #3,000 Maryland-based trainer Dale Capuano saddled his 3,000th career winner yesterday when Father Mudd (Stormin Fever) captured the ninth race at Laurel. He is the 27th conditioner to reach that milestone. AI was pretty proud when I won our first race, so when you get to 3,000 it=s pretty remarkable,@ Capuano said. AIt=s just been a pretty good run. You know we=ve had a lot of help, great clients, great barn people who work for us, a team effort. I=m just the leader.@ Capuano, 49, is in good company with fellow Maryland stalwarts King Leatherbury (3rd-6,335), Scott Lake (6th-5,153), Buddy Delp (12th-3,674) and Dick Dutrow (13th-3,665). ARacing against most of those guys, day in and day out, just makes you better,@ added Capuano. AThe business has changed quite a bit since the mid-90=s and early 2000=s. We=re trying to change with the times and things are tougher now, but we=re going to keep rolling along. The economy is going down and most of the tracks race less days than they used to back then, so we=re based here and we just don=t have the days we had 10 or 15 years ago, and that really is a difference to an outfit like mine.@ Capuano, whose first winner was Who=s Lucky in February 1981 at Bowie, has led the trainer standings 31 times at Laurel and Pimlico. He saddled his first graded winner in 2001, when Prized Stamp won the GII Barbara Fritchie H. During that season, his stable had a career-best $4.4 million in winnings.
