Depart Valparaiso and arrive into Cleveland for a quick lunch then tour the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum opened its doors in 1995 on the shores of Lake Erie in downtown Cleveland, . Its mission is to educate visitors, fans and scholars from around the world about the history and continuing significance of rock and roll . It carries out this mission through its operation of a world-class museum that collects, preserves, exhibits and interprets this art form and through its library and archives as well as its educational programs. DAY 3 SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31 (B) Included full breakfast. Depart Cleveland and arrive into Detroit for a guided tour of Motown. The Motown Museum, which was founded by Esther Gordy Edwards in 1985, is one of Southeast Michigan’s most popular tourist destinations. Visitors come from across America and throughout the world to stand in Studio A, where their favorite artists and groups recorded much-loved music, and to view the restored upper flat where lived with his young family during the company’s earliest days. Next, we’re in for a treat as we tour Henry Ford Museum. The sheer scope and design of Henry Ford Museum is as grand as the vision that inspired it. It’s impossible not to feel a sense of awe as your mind adjusts to a different sense of scale more vast, more expansive and more diverse than anything you’ll encounter in everyday life. The sweeping, single-floor space with its soaring 40-foot ceilings covers nine acres dedicated to showcasing the finest collection of its kind ever assembled. DAY 4 SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 1 (CB,D) Included continental breakfast. Depart the Detroit area for the Chicago area. We will make a stop en route for lunch. Experience Chicago as it was in the 20s and 30s. SEE… the old gangster hot spots and hit spots. HEAR… historically accurate accounts of the exploits of Capone, Moran, Dillinger and the rest of da boys. FEEL… the excitement of -age Chicago during the Prohibition Era. ENJOY… a journey into the past as we cruise the city in search of the old hoodlum haunts, brothels, gambling dens and sites of gangland shootouts. Our entertaining step-on guide for this gangster tour will then escort us to Connie’s, where we’ll feast on family-style Italian food until we can feast no more!
