Please note the following changes: ∗ As a result of the dues increases passed by U.S. Figure Skating at the 2011 Governing Council, we must accordingly increase rates by the USFS designated amounts ($10.00) across all categories except newcomer, collegiate and associate. ∗ Please note that for every first family member and two parents/guardians, the club pays U.S. Figure Skating 50% of your dues. We must pass these increases to members in order to continue to offer free weekly Club Ice and special events such as the spring ice show. ∗ We continue to encourage parents/guardians of first family members to join the club at no charge - first because your involvement and support are vital to our success and secondly because your participation increases our delegates to Governing Council. Y My favorite skater is Yu-Na Kim, because even though she has amazing technique in her skating, she also possesses the grace. L Whom do you admire most? A I admire my mom the most, because she has been by my side even when it was hard times. 5 June, 2011 2011 Ice Dance Weekend June 3 - 5 Over 35 ice dancers and fans from 11 states and all walks of life - from college professor to veterinarian - gathered for the 4th annual club Ice Dance Weekend at The Cooler. That fact did not deter our very special, Special Events Chair, Tami Mickle, from proposing and producing the highly successful show, "Georgia on My Mind," which featured the majority of AFSC skaters.
