Somerset County Council Oake Road, Bradford on Tone (District of Somerset West and Taunton) (Parish of Bradford on Tone) (Temporary 40mph Speed Limit) Order 2019 Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and after giving notice to the Chief Officer of Police, hereby makes the following Order: - This Order will come into operation on the 19th day of December 2019 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The effect of which will be to introduce a Temporary 40mph Speed Limit on the road specified in the Schedule to this Order. The works are expected to start on the 10th day of January 2020 for 1 day. The restriction will only apply when indicated by traffic signs. No person shall drive any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 40 miles per hour on the length of road specified in the Schedule to this Order.
