NOTICE

As the 2021 Tour de is passing through , a number of traffic measures will be in place on Sunday 11th and Tuesday 13th July.

To avoid traffic jams as much as possible, please avoid using vehicles during the relevant time periods on 11th and 13th July. You can find details of these times below.

Sunday 11th July: Céret (France) - Stage

Vehicle traffic will be interrupted on each of the following road sections whilst the advertising caravan and riders pass by:

France/Andorra border, Pas de la Casa, CG-2, Port d’Envalira pass, , , , , CS-210, Vila, Collada de Beixalís, CS-310, Anyós, CG-3, Sant Antoni tunnel, Escaldes-, Avinguda Fiter i Rossell, Avinguda del Pessebre, Co- príncep Joan Martí Alanis bridge, Carrer Josep Viladomat, Avinguda Esteve Albert, lower Dama de Gel roundabout, Andorra la Vella, Avinguda Consell d’Europa, Carrer Bonaventura Armengol, Carrer Prat de la Creu, Carrer Baixada del Molí, La Comella roundabout, Avinguda Tarragona, Marginets roundabout

From 1 p.m., the affected roads will be closed in both directions.

The advertising caravan is expected to arrive at the border between France and Andorra at 2.46 p.m.

The advertising caravan will take the same route as the race.

The peloton is expected at the following times:

4.31 p.m. at the France/Andorra border, 4.35 p.m. at Pas de la Casa, 4.44 p.m. at the top of the Port d’Envalira pass, 4.54 p.m. at Soldeu, 4.56 p.m. at El Tarter, 5.01 p.m. at Canillo, 5.06 p.m. at Encamp, 5.12 p.m. at Vila, 5.29 p.m. at the top of Collada de Beixalís, 5.35 p.m. at Anyós, 5.39 p.m. at the Sant Antoni tunnel, 5.41 p.m. at Avinguda Fiter i Rossell, 5.43 p.m. at Carrer Bonaventura Armengol, 5.46 p.m. arrival at Marginets roundabout.

The above roads and streets will be closed from when the police pilot car with red flags passes and will reopen after the police motorcycle with green flags passes.

Despite these expected times, the Police may change the closing times, depending on how the race goes, and will agree to conduct the appropriate measures to ensure safety.

We advise people who need to drive on the aforementioned road sections on 11th July to do so before 1 p.m. or well after 7 p.m., with the exception of the streets and avenues in Andorra la Vella, where the safety fences for the last two kilometres before the finish line will be removed once the stage is over.

On Sunday 11th July, the French road N22 to and from Andorra will be affected by the passage of the advertising caravan and the race.

From 8 p.m. on Saturday 10th July to 8 p.m. on Sunday 11th July, access to Avinguda Tarragona in Andorra la Vella will be affected by traffic restrictions due to the assembly and dismantling of the infrastructure at the end of the stage.

Tuesday 13th July: Pas de la Casa - Saint Gaudens (France) Stage

Vehicle traffic will be interrupted on each of the following road sections whilst the advertising caravan and riders pass by:

Pas de la Casa, CG-2, Avinguda del Consell General, French road N22, France/Andorra border

From 10 a.m., the affected roads will be closed in both directions.

The advertising caravan is expected to leave Pas de la Casa at 11.05 a.m.

The peloton is expected at the following times:

1.05 p.m. leaving via Avinguda del Consell General in Pas de la Casa, at 1.30 p.m. at the border between France and Andorra.

Anyone who needs to travel on French road N22 to enter or leave Andorra on 13th July is advised to do so before 10 a.m.

The councils of the parishes involved will take appropriate measures regarding the vehicle parking on the aforementioned road sections on 11th and 13th July and before those dates.
