El festival itinerante de un día ya se ha convertido en un punto de referencia internacional dentro de la música pesada, y no es para menos. Casualidades de la vida, Whitechapel también cumplen 10 años, así que… ¿por qué no encabezan el festival? Y así es, con cinco álbumes a sus espaldas, los americanos se han labrado uno de los nombres más respetados dentro de su estilo, su reputación es muy alta, y no es para menos con su legión de fans. Presentando nuevo trabajo, los tendremos finalmente en nuestro país tras numerosas peticiones. Thy Art Is Murder vuelven a nuestro país tras haberlo petado junto a Parkway Drive, su intransigente deathcore no dejarán a nadie indiferente, no piensan dar tregua. hfmncrew.com Press Kit / Never Say Die! Tour 2016 Carnifex actúan por tercera vez en el festival, y finalmente vuelven a nuestro país. Los de San Diego vienen también con nuevo disco. Carnifex siempre ha sido un nombre destacado dentro de la vanguardia de la música pesada, su capacidad musical es infinita, y es otro de los grandes reclamos de esta edición. Obey The Brave también estarán de nuevo, tras su última visita hará un par de años. En poco tiempo se han catapultado como una de las mejores bandas de metalcore actual, su show hará que todos los asistentes no dejen de saltar y corear sus temazos. Fallujah han fusionado la brutalidad y la inteligencia musical creando una fuerza sónica con una presencia en directo incuestionable. Su mezcla progresiva y pesada, lleva a la banda a nuevos niveles. Desde Australia tendremos a Make Them Suffer, una obra maestra. Su death metal/deathcore con emocionales melodías de piano hace que sean una de las bandas más destacadas dentro del sector, y tras mucha espera por fin vuelven a visitarnos. Pese a que su nombre a primera instancia nos suene frío o nos pueda recordar a cierta película de Disney, lo que está claro y hace falta recalcar es que POLAR. no nos va a dejar con esa sensación ni mucho menos. Formados en 2009, los de Guildford son uno de esos nuevos talentos que aparecen cada cierto tiempo, uno de esos nombres a los que no se les puede perder la pista. Tras una oleada de nuevas bandas de melodic hardcore/metalcore, y un montón de grupos que suenan exactamente iguales, Polar han conseguido definir un estilo propio y proporcionar algo nuevo a nuestros tímpanos ya aburridos de música genérica. Quizás su nombre se pueda referir a esas letras que se clavan como estalactitas en el corazón de todos aquellos que los escuchan, o a esas melodías tan profundas.
