The Last Nail in Bethlehem’s Coffin The Annexaton Wall in Cremisan The Society of St. Yves - Catholic Center for Human Right is working under the patronage of the Latn Patriarchate in Jerusalem. It was founded in 1991 by the Latn Patriarch of Jerusalem and the Holy Land, His Beattude Emeritus Michel Sabbah, to help «the poor and the oppressed» according to the social doctrine of the Catholic Church, and was named afer Saint Yves, patron Saint of lawyers and known as “Advocate of the poor”.
St. Yves provides grats legal assistance, counsel, awareness raising events and advocacy to the fragmented members of the community. Today St. Yves manages some nine hundred cases per year and assists around 2000 people.
St. Yves has represented the Salesian Nuns Convent before Israeli Courts in the Cremisan case since 2010.
