Intending bidders may download tender documents from e-procurement portal of our website, wbtenders.gov.in. The pre-qualification and bid documents duly filled in all respect to be submitted through e-tender procedure system (online). Eligibility of Tenderer & Terms and Conditions shall be abided by the tenderers:- 1. The applicant in the same and style as prime contractor should have successfully completed at least one contract of same type of work at least 40% value of the proposed contract within the last 5 years. 2. The Cost of tender paper(as mentioned in column-5) & the Cost of Earnest money (as mentioned in column-4) should be deposited separately in the form of draft in favour of the Executive Officer, Sankrail Panchyat Samity after last date and time of submission of tender and up to the date of opening of Technical Bid/Bids during office hour personally. 3. Photo copy of Sales Tax & Professional Tax clearance certificate & Pan Card should be furnished. 4. All duties, royalties, cess, including 1% cess under W.B. Building and other Construction, Workers (Regulation of Employment & Condition of Service) Act, 1961, toll, taxes and other levies payable by the contractor under the Contract to the State/ Central Government for any other cause, shall be included in the rates , prices and total Bid price submitted by the bidder. 1% Cess under W.B. Building and other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment & Condition of Service) Welfare Cess Act, 1996 will be deducted from the running bills. 5. To keep the work in good condition during the next 6 (six) month after the completion of the construction, if any defect found during the said time, the contractor will be liable for the same and the contractor has to rectify the defect at his own cost. If fail to do the same, his Security Deposited money will be forfeited & others legal procedure may be taken-up against him. 6. The intending bidders are requested to inspect the worksite before quoting their rates. Contd…………..p2 Page - 2 7. 10% Security Deposit money will be deducted from the each running bill. 8. The Authority reserves the right to reject the lowest tender / all the tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever. 9. Supplied materials, if found to be non-conforming to the estimated scheme specification, must be removed from the worksite within 24 hours by the instruction of the SAE in charge. No cost of the same is to be borne by this Office. 10. Shrinkage of materials will be calculated as per PWD Schedule and will be deducted as and when necessary. 11. The work will have to be started by the successful tenderer within 72 (sevety two) hours of issuance of the Work Order and work should be completed within the stipulated period failing of which penal charges will be imposed to the agency as per PWD norms. 12. Income Tax, Sale Tax/Vat & Cess will be deducted from the progressive bill as per Govt. norms. 13. The tenderers should note that any claim for compensation towards any loss suffered by them during the course of work, if selected, due to the reasons like natural calamity, etc. will not be entertained by this Office. 15. Collection/Supply and carriage of raw materials should be done by the selected tenderer himself at his own cost for timely execution 16. All intending tenderers should note that the estimated quantity of any or all items and the scope and dimension of work may be increased or decreased even after issuance of work order, considering the site condition, scope of work, availability of fund, local necessity and any other reason at the complete discretion of the undersigned. The selected tenderer will have to abide by such changed conditions and will be liable to execute the said work under such conditions, when and if so directed by this Office. 17. The intending bidders are requested to inspect the worksite before quoting their rates.. 18. The Authority reserves the right to reject the lowest tender / all the tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever. 19. From Malaksaban Stadium and railway crossing Lal Bahadur Shashtri Marg upto Mehta Petrol Pump on Rakhial-Odhav. On the eastern side it extends from Mehta Petrol Pump to opposite of Sukhramnagar at Khandubhai Desai Marg.     THE URBAN LAND (CEILING AND REGULATION) ACT, 1976 No. 33 OF 1976 [17th February, 1976] An Act to provide for the imposition of a ceiling on vacant land in urban agglomerations, for the acquisition of such land in excess of the ceiling limit, to regulate the construction of buildings on such land and for matters connected therewith, with a view to preventing the concentration of urban land in the hands of a few persons and speculation and profiteering therein and with a view to bringing about an equitable distri- bution of land in urban agglomerations to subserve the common good.
