Our Tel-Aviv team is hiring a Senior Back-End Engineer, who will build innovative machine learning (ML) applications to grow our portfolio of products reaching over billion users monthly and generating 100's of millions of dollars annually. We offer the rare opportunity to innovate at Yahoo scale.
Your Day
● Work independently to design and develop tools using cutting edge machine learning algorithms to support informed product decisions. ● Maintain and optimize existing algorithms and tools on an ongoing basis. ● Collaborate with our Haifa research team, one of the top science groups in the world. ● Work with our awesome US based product team ● Work with top-tier engineers creating global products and competing against the best of the best.
About You
● Experience designing, developing and implementing algorithms. ● Experience working with machine learning (ML) applications, developing models and software. ● Mastery in at least 1 of {Java, Python} and at least 1 of {Linux, AWS}. ● B.Sc/M.Sc in Computer Science. ● Sometimes you hack things just because you can (e.g. personal side projects, awesome StackOverflow profile / GitHub project). ● Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to “think on your feet”. ● Fun to work with!
