Roach, Falconer Printing and Design CHAUTAUQUA REGION COMMUNITY FOUNDATION ~ The Road to 35 ~ 1 or 35 years, the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation has been a supporter of local nonprofit organizations by providing financial assistance through our extensive fund base. While we have many funds whose awards have a designated purpose, our most coveted funds are those with no designation at all. Through the years, this money has been called unrestricted, community service, special projects and most Frecently the Fund for the Region. We have learned that whatever one chooses to call it, these donations fall into the category of caring and giving. An individual must care for his or her community to give a donation without designation. It is that sense of caring that gives our Board of Directors full authority to direct this money to projects and initiatives that will better our community for future generations. As we embark on the “Road to 35,” we look at these types of donations to lay the pavement for our success. This proverbial road takes us through the communities of Randolph, Clymer, Mayville, Falconer and others around the region, to make good things happen. We may not know what the next 35 years hold, but, by following in the footsteps of the founders, donors, Board of Directors and volunteers who have come before us, we can be sure that the Community Foundation will remain a place where caring and giving prevail… Jennifer L. Alert Information Effective immediately, we are no longer providing ExecutivePulse CRM access to individuals who are using Microsoft’s Internet Explorer web browser. This decision has been coming for some time and is driven by a number of factors, including: • The underlying code of the Internet Explorer browser is now over 25 years old • The last major update to that browser was done 7 years ago with the release of Internet Explorer 11 • Microsoft discontinued any support for Internet Explorer in January of 2016—four years ago • Because of the age of the technology and lack of support from Microsoft, Internet Explorer lacks current day standards compliance and necessary security principles Since this week’s roll out of the ExecutivePulse 2020 CRM, the vast majority of technical issues we have received from our Canadian and US clients are rooted in the use of this Internet Explorer.
