Heading up this awesome foursome as BENNY is Damian Wynne a seasoned performer Damian has travelled the world as Musical director for Adam Harvey and Australia’s Resident Madman Col Elliott. When asked what he likes most about performing ABBA songs he replies “ My mother used to rock me to sleep to ABBA songs so I guess it was second nature to perform Benny in this production , I am truly grateful for the chance to perfom these songs and they have certainly etched themselves as one of the greatest bands to ever emerge in the modern era “ . Playing his astranged wife Frida is Kristy Rankin , from a young age Kristy travelled the world with an ABBA show performing in Asia ,NZ and America to critical acclaim , based in New Zealand for much of her teen years Kristy was approached by the conservatorium to perform in the musical Cats where she won over audiences in her major role. We asked Kristy what made her so passionate about the role of Frida and she replied “ I have always loved ABBA and this production is second to none , when I was offered the chance to play this role I grabbed it with both hands and now I feel I was meant to play Frida I feel a connection with her everytime I perform this show on stage , I love it “ . Partnering her on stage as Agneitha is singer / songwriter Sarah Nichols whom you may have seen in action performing in Musicals “ Phantom of the Opera “ or “ Little Shop of Horrors” where Sarah played the lead roles in both musicals. Her demand to play the role of Agneitha has for the past 4 years taken her all over the world and the reveiws she has received playing this role has held her in high esteem in the performing world of Show Business. We asked Sarah how she felt about playing this role and she replied “ I love singing these songs not only are they timeless classics vocally they are very challenging and to perform them we must be in peak condition. I have relished in playing this role and now in this production I have the chance to share what I feel is some of the music ever written , Thankyou for the Music “ Finally playing Bjorn is Glenn Bloomfeild based in the UK for a number of years Glenn has worked with some of the greats including Tom Jones and Paul McCartney.Glenn is sought after as a highly respected session musician who not only resembles the looks of Bjorn but holds the guitar genius Bjorn pocsessed.When asked why he started playing the role of Bjorn he replies “ I simply could not pass up the opportunnity to play in this production , Benny and Bjorn were two of the greatest songwriters of our time and my respect for their musicianship has only become greater since playing in this production , Damian and I truly feel we become the characters when we hit the stage and we find that the audiences we perform are with us from the very first song “
