NETBALL VENUES City Academy , 299 Bluebell Road, Norwich, NR4 7LP & adjoining courts of the Sportspark at the University of East Anglia, Norwich, NR4 7TJ GALA DINNER Top of the Terrace Suite, Norwich City Football Club, Carrow Road, Norwich, NR1 1JE TEAM ENTRY £150 per team; maximum entry two teams per force. A third team will be accommodated where we can; please indicate on the entry form

Netball Venues We will play across eight outdoor courts over the weekend, on adjoining sites. We have invited traders & mobile caterers to set up stalls on site, as well as St John’s first aiders & physios/sports massage therapists Hot and cold food and drinks will be available across the two days, either from mobile caterers within the grounds of City Academy Norwich, or indoors at the Sportspark, at the Sportscafe. There are other facilities available indoors at the Sportspark, open to public use, such as a swimming pool, gym & climbing wall all available for public hire for anyone bringing family or supporters Umpires (min C award) will be arranged; please indicate below if you’d like to bring one of your own.

Accommodation The pandemic restrictions have made hotel bookings a little tricky! Consequently, we’re relying on you booking your own accommodation this year. We’ve not included any accommodation costs in the price. Travel Air Norwich has a small regional airport which is close to the Holiday Inn Norwich North

Train Norwich Train Station is near the centre of Norwich & is convenient for many city centre hotels

If you intend to travel by train or plane, please highlight this on your entry form. Transport will be available for a small additional cost

Roads Norwich is accessed via the A11 from the south or the A47 from the north & west. Car parking for minibuses & cars will be available at City Academy Norwich & at the Sportspark

Logistics The weekend’s events are not in the same location. Sportspark & City Academy Norwich have adjoining outdoor netball courts. City Academy Norwich to Norwich City Football Club is 4 miles Other information Our chosen charities are Nelson’s Journey & COPS; funds will be split 50/50 between the two Nelson’s Journey Since 1997, Nelson’s Journey has been supporting children and young people in Norfolk with their bereavement needs, helping to them to understand and cope with their feelings. The charity also supports professionals in the county who work with children, such as teachers and health workers, to help raise awareness of issues affecting bereaved children. Nelson’s Journey’s vision is that every bereaved child in Norfolk will look forward to a positive future, empowered to reach their full potential COPS Since its foundation in 2003, COPS has helped hundreds of police families devastated by the loss of a loved one who died on duty. COPS provides peer support opportunities and access to counselling services to help surviving family members (‘survivors’) rebuild their shattered lives. All event costs have been estimated. Coronavirus We will adhere to any Covid restrictions & regulations that may be in place by September. If we need to cancel the tournament for Covid reasons, we will endeavour to refund money to teams where possible.
