Dear Sir/Madam

Prohibition of Driving– Green Bank, Brockworth

I am writing to consult on the following proposal.

The proposal is to close Green Bank between Green Street and Kennel Lane to motorised vehicles. Pedal cycles, pedestrians and equestrians will be permitted to use the closed section of Green Bank as will emergency vehicles (by removal of the removable bollards) .

A developer, David Wilson Homes, as part of their planning permission is required to close off Green B ank between Green Street and Kennel Lane, Brockworth. This is to prevent traffic from the development using Green Street. Green Street has no footway , limited width and restricted visibility. Green Bank, from Kennel Lane to Green Way and Green Way is a more suitable route for traffic.

Please see the enclosed Order Notice detailing the proposed closure and enclosed plan for details of the proposal.

I would be grateful if you would let me have a ny comments or observations by Monday 9th June 2010.

Yours sincerely
