    STUDENTS SAID… • I had a good time, and the facilitators were really good. • I enjoyed it. I could be open and honest without being judged. • Manytown made me think of things I didn't even realize. Because my high school isn’t very diverse, I haven’t really thought about what would happen if it was. • It allowed me to open my eyes and be able to connect with people from other schools who deal with tough situations everyday. • I seriously enjoyed this experience and think more students should be given the opportunity to come to a Manytown Conference. • This is my 4th Manytown and I take away something new each time. • It was a very valuable experience and I feel I got to know/understand people that are different from me. • [Manytown is a] very good opportunity to connect with students from other schools around the same area and discuss common issues in our schools. • I think that programs like this are really important and teens need to be more aware of these types of issues. It's great to see so many teens willing to come out and participate. • It was a great and educational experience. I would like to come back. The things I learned I will take back to my school and teach others. • It was great! I have more of an urge to stop violence/bullying. • I feel that this experience was very helpful. I learned a lot and feel more comfortable with confronting bullies and helping other people. • I felt it was an extremely good experience in which I can take what I have learned and educate people in my school about it.

Moore Keynote Speaker* – posted “Critical Thinking,” “Problem Solving,” “Collaboration,” “Agility,” “Adaptability,” “Initia- Lavino Field House tive,” “Entrepreneurialism,” “Curiosity,” and “Imagination,” many qualities that Tony Wagner Tony Wagner has identified as “survival skills.” I learned that some NJAIS independent schools have a Learning, Leading, and Teaching in the 21st Century Director of Sustainability and Energy Management. In classrooms, I saw student projects with currencies from around the globe, and world maps were prevalent. I realized that many NJAIS 10:30 – 11:30 Session A – Workshops teachers are not the “digital immigrants” instructing the “digital natives,” but are far more 11:45 – 12:45 Session B – Workshops advanced at taking the familiar and exploring new ways to engage learners.     To Apply For Financial Aid in Academic Year Parents’Parents’ Financial Financial Statement Statement WorkbookInstruction and Booklet Instruction Booklet T is instruction booklet walks you through completing your Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) as part of your application for f nancial aid for the 2014-15 academic year. Apply online at sss.nais.org/parents. Step 1: Prepare to Apply Find out from each school its application deadlines and requirements. T en gather any materials you will need to reference as you answer the questions in the PFS. Step 2: Complete Your Online PFS From your PFS Online Dashboard, choose to begin a new PFS for the academic year for which you are applying. As you work, you can stop and save your work at any time then log in again using your email address and PFS Online password. Step 3: Pay For and Submit Your PFS Once you have completed all the f elds of the PFS, on the Pay and Submit screen you will choose your method of secure payment ($41.00). Once you submit your PFS, your information is sent immediately to schools. It cannot be withdrawn from the PFS system and your money cannot be refunded. Step 4: “Manage” Any Additional Documents You Must Submit On the Manage Documents screen, you can see what additional documents you should submit to SSS as part of your application, track the receipt of documents you submitted, and upload documents from your computer. Step 5: View your Family Report After you have paid for and submitted your PFS, SSS processes your information immediately and sends your PFS and Estimated Family Contribution to all of the schools you selected.
