Invitation to Mpi Professional Courses 2012 INVITATION TO MPI PROFESSIONAL COURSES 2012 Malaysian Press Institute (MPI), is now offering short courses for the professionals, academicians and public who are keen to further enhance their skills and knowledge in related fields of journalism. The courses : Media Relations, Effective Writing and Photo Journalism are offered with significant objectives as below : i- To maximize exposure and understanding on how journalists work; develop rapport and achieve an ongoing relationship with media people; ii- To enhance writing skills in such as media releases, letter-to-editors, reports and articles for publication that will pique editors and reporters’ interest ; iii- To maximize exposure and understanding on photo journalism, i.e techniques of using SLR digital camera and its lenses, editing using Photoshop, caption writing skills, ethics of photo journalism, practical on photo shoot etc. iv- To equip the participants with the above trainings for the betterment of their career achievement. We have carefully selected a group of trainers who have worked in the media field a long time with outstanding experience and also renowned public practitioners who would be able to impart excellent and pertinent knowledge in the said courses.
