They wanted to see what ‘attending a conference in these uncertain times’ would mean to the organization and its members. Below is the COVID-19 response from the IAMPETH board at the time of this visit: • Masks are required in all public areas, this includes all of the conference space. • Classroom seating will be two people per eight foot table, each tables will be 6 feet apart. • Hallway space in front of the classrooms will allow for six foot distancing as people line up in the morning. • The Archive Room, Artisan Vendor Room and Vendor Room will have maximum occupancy posted at each door and if need be, will have monitors. • Coffee breaks will be staffed and served by the hotel so as to eliminate handling by multiple people. • Evening activities will have attendance guidelines and be monitored. • The opening reception and closing banquet will have seating spaced according to hotel guidelines. • Sharing of guest rooms is to be done at your own discretion. It is suggested that if you share your room, do it with someone you know. With the hopes of improvement as the year goes on, COVID-19 guidelines might relax. You will be required to follow the current local guidelines and hotel policy at the time of the conference. Conference attendees will be notified if any updates to these policies change. 2 ABOUT THE CONFERENCE Class Previews Aisha changezi Bailey rivera barbara close bill kemp Script Monogram Magic Engrosser’s Square Kufic Calligraphy Design Lines Script bob hurford Rosalee Anderson Heather held jake weidmann Fun With The Adorned Letter The Flowering Flourishing Split Nib Flourish Arrangments janet takahashi maria helena hoksch marie hornbeck melissa esplin The Artful Craft of Map- The Wandering Line Cursive Handwiring iPad Calligraphy Making mike kecseg pat blair michael sull michael ward Pointed Pen Variations Beginning Spencerian Advanced Ornamental The Art of Movement Writing Penmanship randall hasson skyler chubak suzanne cunningham vivian mungaLl DAILY OFFERINGS Eccentric Title Sickels Lettering Flourishing with Splendor French Ronde Hand 3 DAILY OFFERINGS ABOUT THE CONFERENCE Daily Offerings Classes When registering, you may select one of the four classes offered each day, based on your area of interest, your skill level, and availability of seats in the class at the time. There are also several scrapbooks by the old pen masters. Enjoy this wonderful study opportunity by taking advantage of all the Archive Room has to offer.
