Get ready to become a better reader by reading for prizes, completing fun activities and watching engaging videos for points. Get ready to have fun with reading all summer long! Grab & Go Activity Kits Get ready to fill your summer days with fun activities and fascinating new facts about a variety of animal themes. The Friends of the Buckeye Public Library and the Arizona State Library have sponsored the creation of engaging and educational Grab & Go Activity Kits. Each week you will be introduced to new literacy tips, vocabulary, Imagine, Learn and Play activities, recommended books and more. You will also have a Grab & Go activity you can do each week using the provided supplies. Once completed, you can photograph and email or bring your completed activity into your Buckeye library to earn points towards your Summer Reading goal of 1,000 points. The kit includes: An activity packet with weekly activities Supplies to do the weekly activities A book A bookmark A Game Board you can use to track your daily minutes read and enter them online at a later point Weekly Activity Sheets Each week pull out the activity sheet and engage as a family. Each sheet includes: Fun facts about the week’s theme. A literacy tip to help you become a better reader. Terms with a challenge question to answer using your online library resource Britannica - https://library.eb.com/levels Recommended books: both fiction and non-fiction. Imagine, Learn and Play activities to enhance what you learn. A guided activity to do with included supplies. Reflection questions to solidify learning.
