Joemal Campbell had six catches for 136 yards and one touchdown, Tim Hicks rushed for 86 yards and two TDs and A.J. Individual The leading tackler among the Bisons’ front line is sophomore NG Andrew Jackson. Jackson has nine tackles, including 2.0 tackles-for-loss, and will be rewarded with his fi rst career start vs. North Alabama. Most Fumbles Forced, Game: Junior DE Michael Solano has eight tackles and a team-leading 3.0 TFL. Junior NG Keenan 2, Jermaine Blanchard vs. SBU Kitchen has six tackles, all coming against Missouri Southern. Junior DE Corwin Brown has started both games and has six tackles. Key reserves have included sophomore DE Ray Hatfi eld (6 tackles, 1 FR) and redshirt freshman DE Josh Brown (8 tackles, 0.5 TFL). Sophomore transfer NG Roger Hurts made his Bison debut against Missouri Southern and had two tackles.

LINEBACKERS Redshirt freshman Braden Binkley has led the Bison linebacking corps with 14 tackles in two games. He tied for the team lead with nine tackles against Missouri Southern. Harding’s top returning linebacker is sophomore Jermaine Blanchard, who had 45 tackles, including 3.0 tackles-for-loss. Blanchard has eight tackles and two forced fumbles. Sophomore Jeremy Townsend also starts on the outside and has seven tackles (1.0 TFL). Sophomore transfer Kyle Young, a reserve OLB, is fourth on the squad with 11 tackles. Sopho- more J. McCoy, also HU’s long snapper, has four tackles.

DEFENSIVE BACKS Harding received a strong debut from redshirt freshman safety Steve Hudson in the opener, and Hudson kept it going against Missouri Southern. Hudson, replacing the injured preseason All-America Sevohn Greer, leads the team with 17 tackles. Senior free safety Rocky Hall also has 17 and had his sixth career interception against Southwest Baptist. Sophomore Morgan Toline starts at Rover and has 10 tackles (1.0 TFL). Senior Jordan Huckeba, the backup at Rover, has two tackles. Last season, Huckeba played in two games after recovering from a broken leg suffered in a pre-season scrimmage. The Bisons’ starting cornerbacks are both transfers. Junior Tracy Brown came to Harding from West Hills College in California, and has 11 tackles. Junior Carron Connor transferred from Coahoma Community College in Mississippi, and had an outstanding fi rst game. Connor has six tackles and an interception. True freshman Rashad Rayner has seven tackles and a team-high two breakups. He was an All-State performer in Tennessee as a high school senior. Redshirt freshman Billy McGahee transferred to Harding after redshirting last season at Webber International, and has two tackles. Senior Cam Clark will backup both safety positions. Clark has three tackles and a fumble recov- ery.

SPECIAL TEAMS Redshirt freshman Micah Canterbury has handled the bulk of the Bison kicking duties, averaging 35.8 yards on nine punts with a long of 43. Redshirt freshman Zach Tribble has three punts with a 27.0-yard average. Junior Kyle Ferrell returned from an ACL injury to handle the placekicking duties. Ferrell has averaged 57.0 yards on 13 kickoffs. He is a perfect 7-of-7 on extra points but had his lone fi eld-goal attempt blocked against Missouri Southern. Sophomore J. McCoy is in his second season as the Bisons’ long snapper, and sophomore Zac Ross is the holder. Kickoff returns have been a bright spot for the Bisons. The team averages 23.3 yards per return, led by sophomore Zac Ross who averages 28.5 yards on six returns with a long of 52 yards. Ardell Briggs averages 29.3 yards on three returns. Ross has returned six punts with an 8.3-yard average and long of 20 yards.
