SALT LAKE CITY—Tyler Huntley completed 76-percent of his passes (22-of- 29) for 341 yards and four touchdowns and Utah’s defense smothered USC in a 41-28 victory. USC jumped ahead 14-0 in the fi rst quarter before Utah reeled off 34 unanswered points. The Trojans would not score again until the fourth quarter after blocking and recovering a punt on Utah’s 9-yard line. They scored on their fi rst third down conversion of the night after going 0-10 on third downs through the fi rst three quarters. Zack Moss rushed for 136 yards and Britain Covey had 79 yards receiving and a touchdown. Chase Hansen’s team-leading 11 tackles included three for a loss and he inter- cepted a pass off a tipped ball by Javelin Guidry.
