In ART TAINAN 2019, the seventh edition of the most iconic art fair in Southern Taiwan, the fair would not only gathers both inter- national and domestic galleries, but presents extraordinarily thematic exhibitions. It is our genuine hope that ART TAINAN 2019 would continue to present an innovative art-admiring experience to echo Tainan’s abundance of historial assets and pride of cultural delicacy to the art-lovers and audience in Southern Taiwan. ART TAINAN 2019 is a platform built for galleries, artists, collectors, and audiences to share their thoughts, discover the potential art lovers, and develop art market within a creative, relaxing, and sophisticated hotel atmosphere.

Any cancellation after the announcement of booth allocation is not subject to refund of the fee

payment from the organizer.

Booth Fee Payment Deadline:2019 / 01 / 22(Tue)

All the exhibitors MUST clear the booth fee payment before the deadline, otherwise, the exhibi-

tors will be disquliafied for participation.

Terms and Conditions

1. Please complete the application form and provide relevant artist information (Name, Medium, Year of Birth, 1. Nationality) for evaluation, and indicate the exacts artworks to be used in the catalogue.

2. The Executive Committee will evaluate the application and relevant artist information.

3. The selection is made by the Executive Committee. Applicants shall guarantee all the information provided in 1. the application is accurate and will not be changed without Executive Committee’s permission. The Executive 1. Committee reserves the right to cancel the participation if the exhibitors fail to follow the terms.

4. Exhibition room shall not be changed or transferred to other exhibitors. Any display and commercial acitivty of 1. artworks outside the exhibition room is prohibited. The Executive Committee reserves the right to cancel the 1. participation and will not accept the application in the future if the exhibitor fails to follow the terms.

5. Applicants shall guarantee all artworks submitted is authentic. The Executive Committee reserves the right 1. to cancel the participation if the exhibitors fail to follow the terms.

6. Art crafts and antiques are not accepted for exhibition during the fair.

7. The Committee will carefully review the information provided by applicants; the announcement of selection 1. result will be announced on January 4th, 2019. Exhibitors shall follow the payment instructions upon 1. admission to participating ART TAINAN 2019.

04 Regulation and Guidelines

1. Exhibitors shall open the exhibition room by 11:50 AM. During the fair, any delay or early closure of the exhibi- 1. tion time is not allowed.

2. In addition to the public exhibition space allocated by the Executive Committee, exhibitors shall present the 1. artworks only in the exhibition room. It is prohibited to place any personal items, flower baskets, posters, 1. decorations, or artworks at any public space and aisle.

3. All exhibitors shall cover their own insurance for the artworks during the fair. The Executive Committee and 1. the hotel will not be responsible for any loss or damage to exhibitors.

4. During the exhibition and installation days, staffs of the exhibitors shall have the Exhibitor Pass or 1. Installation/ Dismantlinging Pass to enter the exhibition venue for admission.

5. In order to maintain the exhibition security, please fill out the “Artwork Release Form” and bring it to the 1. Exhibitor Service Counter with Exhibitor Pass and Business Card before the artwork can be released from the 1. exhibition. After examination and stamping, the artwork will then be released.

6. The Executive Committee is solely responsible for Public Liability Insurance during the fair. All exhibitors 1. must follow the safety principles and self-insure the cost of damage, loss, theft, robbery, fire, water damage, 1. transportation and other situations. In any case or scenario, the Executive Committee is not responsible for 1. the damage of the artworks, nor for the equipment. All exhibitors must compensate for damage caused by the 1. equipment or related to the staff, other exhibitors, visitors, etc. The Executive Committee has no obligation 1. to exhibitors for direct or indirect damages of artworks.

7. Exhibitors shall not proceed with installation or dismantling beside the time appointed by the Executive Com- 1. mittee.

Important Notice for the Usage of Exhibition Space

1. It is required that at least one staff of the Exhibitor to stay in the exhibition room for the entire duration of the 1. opening hours and cleaning time.

2. Any share of the exhibition room is not allowed.

3. Exhibitors shall install the room according to the exhibitor’s manual. Please do not drill or nail the wall and 1. do not damage the wallpaper, furniture and equipment. The hotel staff will examine the room at the time of 1. check-in and check-out. If there is any activity causing damage, exhibitors shall compensate the losses and 1. the cost to Tayih Landis Hotel.

4. Please do not move large furniture or the bathroom door.

5. In order to avoid electrical hazards or blackouts, please do not exceed the maximum usage of electricity of 1. the hotel room: max. 5 amps for each circuit, and max. 2 circuits with a total of 10 amps.

6. Exhibitors shall dismantle and clean up the room according to the exhibitor’s manual. If there is any damage 1. caused, exhibitors shall compensate the losses and the cost to Tayih Landis Hotel.

05 Important Notice for the Usage of Exhibition Space

7. Smoking in the exhibition room is strictly prohibited. Exhibitors are not allowed to carry dangerous goods into 1. the room. 8. Artworks and marketing materials are prohibited to post or hang in the public area and the aisle. The Execu- 1. tive Committee reserves the right to ask for remove.

Force Majeure

In the presence of any third-party default, accidental happening, political and economic events, and orders by authorities, the Executive Committee has the right to postpone the event, shorten or prolong its duration or adapt its operation to circumstances. In all such cases, the Executive Committee carries no liability, and exhibi- tors will not be entitled to withdraw from the contract or to claim compensation. Compensation or refund will not be given on such occasions.
