Bristol now has up to date statutory planning policies covering the whole city. This Plan will guide development up to 2001 and form the basis for a review taking Bristol into the 21st Century. The Plan sets out to protect open space, industrial land, housing, shopping and local services and to promote the quality of life for all the citizens of Bristol.
