1 Judah one of Jacob's sons was the father of Perez. Perez and Hezron went with Jacob to Egypt (Gen 46:12) 2 Salmon is mentioned in Matthew's Gospel genealogy of Christ. There we are told that his wife was Rahab the prostitute. She was the one who protected the spies from Israel that Joshua sent to spy the land prior to their entering for conquest of Canaan. 3 Boaz was married to Ruth. Commentaries and Bible notes indicate that this was during the times of the Judges. 4 Exact date unknown. Spaced in between known dates. 5 Aaron marries Nahshon's sister, who is the daughter of Amminadab (Ex 6:23). Aaron was 83 when he and Moses came before pharaoh (Ex 7:7). We know that Perez was the son of Judah. We know that Hezron was the son of Perez. We know that Nahshon was the son of Amminadab. We know that Obed was the son of Boaz. We know that David was the son of Jesse.
