The health facilities have been closed since 13 January depriving 217,806 people of basic health services. However, several other health facilities in the region remain closed impacting tens of thousands of people in need of healthcare. Negotiations are ongoing to reopen the facilities. Weekly Field Report | 2 care facilities have been affected by conflict resulting in 208 facilities closed and 33 facilities damaged or destroyed. During the same time period 34 health care facilities were reopened across the country. Last week, interagency assessment teams identified 1,750 IDPs who will receive humanitarian assistance in the coming days across the eastern part of the country. 23,002 IDPs received humanitarian assistance in Kunar, Laghman, Nangarhar and Nuristan provinces. 6,273 returnees, IDPs and people from host communities were reached with emergency outpatient health services. This week, a total of 5,448 children were vaccinated for polio and measles. 58 people (21 women and 37 children) from who have been displaced to city, Nangarhar province continued to receive life-saving humanitarian assistance. North: Ongoing fighting resulted in civilian displacement and deaths in Clashes between the ANSF and an NSAG were reported in Faryab province following an increased number of security incidents in , Faryab and Jawzjan provinces in the past weeks. Initial reports indicate that ongoing fighting displaced some 300 families (approximately 2,100 people) from Ghuzzari and Badghisi villages to Kata Qeshlaq, Qezal Qeshlaq, Pakhal Tughai and Kusa Qala villages in Khwaja Sabz Posh district and Maymana city in Faryab province. Also, ongoing fighting between an NSAG and the ANSF in Qaram Qul district, Faryab province reportedly resulted in the death of three civilians. Interagency assessment teams verified 560 people displaced by conflict in Faryab, Sar-e-Pul and Jawzjan provinces. 1,897 IDPs received humanitarian assistance in Samangan and Jawzjan provinces. South: Over 6,000 people receiving humanitarian assistance Fighting between the ANSF and an NSAG continued in Hilmand, and Uruzgan provinces. According to initial reports, ongoing fighting and airstrikes impacted civilian residences that resulting in the deaths of five children and injuries of six children and two women. Last week, 1,356 IDPs affected by conflict received assistance in Hilmand province while assistance coordination is underway for 4,576 people who were affected by natural disasters and conflict in Hilmand, Uruzgan and Zabul provinces. West: Ongoing winterisation support for over 10,000 people in Badghis Last week, a joint assessment team identified 35 people who were severely affected by rainfall who received food and relief items in Hirat and Injil cities in Hirat province. Winterisation support to IDPs affected by drought has been ongoing for 1,540 families (approximately 10,780 people) in Qala-e-Naw and districts in by humanitarian partners. Centre: 7,364 people received winter assistance Last week, 7,364 people received assistance for winter in Bamyan, Daykundi, and Paktya provinces. A needs assessment of 490 IDPs was ongoing in . On 2 February, one child was reportedly killed and two civilians were wounded due to an explosion caused by unexploded ordnance (UXO) in district of . Last week, 35 houses were destroyed by heavy snowfall in different districts of Paktya province. Roads connecting to Sang-e-Takht district and to six other districts in were closed for some days due to heavy snowfall which hampered the regular delivery of winter assistance in Daykundi province.
