Gammel Estrup – The Danish Manor & Estate Museum Gammel Estrup – The Danish Manor & Estate Museum is Denmark’s leading manor house and estate museum. The museum is state-approved and undertakes both conservation and development of the manor Gammel Estrup and research into, and communication of, the history of Danish manors in general. The museum involves itself with all aspects of manors, including architecture, landscape, culture, history, agriculture and economy, in both a national and an international perspective and is a living museum with a wide range of activities and events. Musikhuset - Concert Hall From students to international stars. Music is the center of attention, when the Concert Hall every year enrich, excite and inspire more than 600.000 guests. Impressive acoustics and beautiful architecture constitute the Concert Hall’s six halls and nine scenes that set the stage for more than 1.200 yearly events. The Concert Hall offers experiences for everyone. Children’s shows, concerts, musicals, comedy, dance, theatre, opera, performance from the Symphony Orchestra and meetings, events and conferences for business. Ensemble Midtvest – Classical music orchestra Founded in 2002, Ensemble MidtVest consists of a string quartet, a wind quintet and a pianist. Performing more than 100 concerts a year both in Denmark and abroad, the ensemble has been invited to such venues as the Carnegie Hall, New York, Kings’ Place, London, and to festivals as the Musikfestspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, the Rio International Chamber Music Week, ULTIMA Festival, Oslo, the Vale of Glamorgan Festival; and the Mantova Chamber Music Festival.
