Hello and a ‘Happy New Year’ to you all, We made some beautiful table decorations at our Decem- ber meeting. Julie and Marion provided the small dishes with Oasis in and plenty of greenery and advice (if need- ed!). At Marion’s suggestion we opted for battery powered candles that looked really effective and were a lot safer than real ones- apparently holly is extremely combustible when it comes into contact with a naked flame!! After we had finished being creative we ate a delicious faith supper with a lovely variety of food accompanied by wine, soft drinks, laughter and lots of talking!

Members and others had donated gifts for the women and children in the Women’s Aid Refuge over the Christmas period. I felt extremely proud when I saw how much we had amassed – we loaded up my husband’s car and we had to put the back seat down to fit it all in! We delivered it to Women’s Aid the next day and they were extremely USED POSTAGE grateful. STAMPS
