Following law school, Judge Crouse served as a law clerk to two federal judges. He clerked for the Honorable Monti L. Belot of the United States District Court for the District of Kansas from 2000 to 2002, and the Honorable of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit from 2002-2003. Judge Crouse noted, “I am grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside the judges before whom I spent a career practicing and to rejoin the court family that, years before, welcomed me in as a law clerk. This opportunity would not have been possible without the love and support of my family, the encouragement of Kansas’s Senators, and the mentoring of countless colleagues within and beyond Kansas. I am eager to get to work for the federal judicial system and the Kansans it serves.”
