Dario Zulich is a graduate from the University of Western Ontario (Richard Ivey School of Business) holding an Honours Degree in Business Administration. He returned to Sudbury to lead his family business as General Manager of Zulich Enterprises, one of the largest real estate and developers in Northeastern Ontario. For almost 20 years, he continues to be the CEO of TESC Contracting, one of Ontario’s largest industrial contracting businesses. In recent years, he acquired three incredible sports teams: The Sudbury Wolves Hockey Club, Sudbury Spartans Football Club and the Sudbury Five Basketball Team under SWSE (SW Sports & Entertainment Inc.). SWSE hosts over 75 sports and entertainment events per year. These teams and events have attracted new tourists to the region and have expanded the growth opportunities for employment. He has a vision to create the Kingsway Entertainment District (KED), an innovative world class Sports & Entertainment Centre for the north. With its partnerships it will provide economic growth, workforce development, investment attraction and tourism for the City of Greater Sudbury and across Northeastern Ontario. He also acquired the Sudbury Water Tower and has plans to revitalize this historical landmark at the centre of our city and restore it as one of Sudbury’s iconic symbols for photographers and tourists. Over the years, he served as a member on various boards within the City of Greater Sudbury including: The United Way Centraide, Sudbury & District Chamber of Commerce, Laurentian University’s Next 50 Campaign and was the Chair of the YMCA Building Committee for the Centre for Life. He is also the Co- Founder of the Wolves United organization, a partnership to raise support and funding for Youth Mental Health.
