As of March 23, 2020, all optometry offices will be closed to the public in accordance with Premier Scott Moe’s mandate per the new regulations mandated by the Saskatchewan Health Authority.

Doctors Vision Care will continue to answer phone calls and see urgent eye concerns only. This includes eye injuries, infections, vision loss, flashes or floaters and any other urgent vision concerns. We recognize that there are situations where glasses repair or glasses orders may be critical for our patients to function and we will assess these special cases individually. Contact lens reorders over the phone will continue as normal with direct to home delivery. Unfortunately, no walk-in appointments or in-office pickups are allowed at this time.

Our Blairmore location will be available to answer phones Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm, Saturday’s 9:00am-2:00pm. Our Martensville, , Biggar and Outlook offices will be closed until further notice. Please email us or call at 306-651-3331 if there are any questions or concerns.

Dr. Ewen is on call in Martensville 24/7, Drs. Skoretz and Harris are both on call in Blairmore and Dr. Leidl has been enjoying her peaceful isolation with her new born child.

We hold a very high standard of care at Doctors Vision Care, as such the staff have a clear plan on how we will best deliver glasses and contact lens orders. Although in-office pickup is not permitted, we are offering office front door pickup, home doorstep delivery and Post mailing. In all cases, we are using documentation methods appropriate to follow-up at a later date to offer final glasses adjustment.

Our doctors and staff are looking forward to reopening for regular business, in accordance with the Health Authority’s approval. Thank you for your love and support through this difficult time, we will see you again soon!
