Metodológicamente es una investigación documental ya que los orígenes de los datos fueron de material audiovisual e impresos, es un estudio cuantitativo ya que la recopilación de los datos fue mediante la observación de las repeticiones de los comportamientos tácticos presentados por la Selección de Fútbol Chile, durante los 6 partidos.
