James Levine conducts the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. Wednesday DIE WALKÜRE Acts 2 and 3 19 May 7.30 pm joins the cast as Brünnhilde. Saturday WAGNER’S Birthday Lunch 22 May Noon Venue to be announced

Wednesday Acts 1 and 2 16 June Texan tenor Jay Hunter Morris stars in the title role of the Robert Lepage 7.30 pm production of New York’s Metropolitan Opera’s third instalment of Wagner’s four-part 'Ring' cycle. conducts the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. Wednesday SIEGFRIED Act 3 21 July Hans-Peter König is the Dragon/Fafner and Mojca Erdmann lends her voice as 7.30 pm the Wood Bird.

Wednesday GÖTTERDÄMMERUNG Prologue and Act 1 18 August Robert Lepage directs the conclusion to the Met's Ring cycle. Deborah Voigt 7.30pm and Jay Hunter Morris star as Brünnhilde and Siegfried, the star-crossed lovers doomed by fate. Fabio Luisi conducts the Met Opera’s Orchestra and Chorus. Wednesday GÖTTERDÄMMERUNG Acts 2 and 3 15 September Hans-Peter König is Hagen, Iain Paterson is Gunther and Wendy Bryn Harmer 7.30 pm is Gutrune. Wednesday Getting ready for the Brisbane RING 20 October 7.30 pm Programme to be announced. Our monthly evenings are normally held in The Tunley Lecture Theatre, Conservatorium of Music, The University of Western Australia. Due to current Covid-19 restrictions we are not able to serve supper, however do join in the discussions on the evening’s performance and on Wagner and his music with our friendly members.

There may be other events which will be organised, depending on guest musicians and speakers who are in Perth at the time. Members and friends will be informed of these events.

Visitors and friends are most welcome to attend regular evenings at a cost of $10. This provides temporary membership for the evening.

The Society is a member of the Richard Wagner Verband International. We receive an annual allocation of tickets to the Bayreuth Festival. Due to COVID-19 we are at present unlikely to be allocated tickets for 2021.
