Transportation
Airports The town of Duino is close to the Trieste-Ronchi international airport (15 km) and at one hour drive from the Venice Airport (130 km). You can take bus n. 51 (see below) to reach Duino from the Trieste-Ronchi airport.
Train stations Duino is at 8.5 km from the Monfalcone railway station and at 20 km from the Trieste station. From both train stations you can reach Duino with bus n. 51 (see below).
Coming by car If you come from Venice, you should leave the highway at the Duino exit, which is located half kilometer after the toll pay at Monfalcone. If you come from Trieste you shoul stay on the road SS 14 until Duino, then turn left at the traffic light.
Bus connection Bus n. 51 connects the Trieste train station to the Trieste-Ronchi airport, and viceversa, passing through Duino and Sistiana, with a frequency of one bus every 30 minutes. Timetable: http://www.aptgorizia.it/cms/data/orari/files/linea_aeroporto_resource_orig.pdf
