By understanding that our economy in America must do two things. It must be independent enough and resilient enough to be able to manufacture and produce the businesses and the capability to protect America, to feed America, and to give America the seven pillars of prosperity without any need for anybody else if required. And that’s food, water, shelter, energy, information, health care and transportation. The second thing we need to do is we need to build that resilience so that we still benefit from the blessing of every other culture and every other people providing the diversity of thought, the innovation and the color of life where every civilization is respected, celebrated and brings us joy. The Chinese people are beautiful. The Communist Party is the system that steals away something God gave each of us, and that is free will and choice.
Our Western civilization, our Westphalian model, our Constitution, are designed around these principles where every person is created equal and every person should be respected, and that we can live free and happy in an open environment where people can come and go as they please, and we can innovate and grow prosperity in our economy. That can be never ending. But that can only happen if all of you consider this opportunity as the education of knowing how to fight this new fight in the 21st century.”
